Fucking central Texas weather!

The last one. I'm more than happy to be dumb enough. As we used to say back in the old Soviet Union, mistakes were made.

I'm sure they'll find a way to waste the awesome talents of David Morrissey.

But they're about to take shelter in a prison. In TWD world, that will be like home to T-Dog, so he'll be hella useful next season.

I haven't read the comics, so I'm not bothered about how true the TV show may be to its source material. I am also in the "too bad for Shane" camp. He was the my favorite & the most interesting character. Rick is doing his best to be that now, but Shane was someone they could all unite against, or unite in fear of, a

@avclub-0ee233be741cd674a3e04a0ecdd06fc2:disqus I give credit to the actor for delivering that line with a straight face.

@avclub-658d0dcf613001598e03136ff93879d8:disqus In the past, maybe we could've voted for Rick to end his speech with that line. But as we all now know, TWD is not a democracy.

Rick's justification for shooting Shane? Re: reviewer's comment that it was terrifying — What exactly was wrong with it? It was spot on. He was a threat, Rick eliminated the threat.

Coast is good, assuming zombies can't swim. Just tread water until the herd moves along.

Why would he fight Ted Sizemore?

Love Waffle — that is laugh out loud funny. Surely T-Bone already knows about the prison, seeing as how half his family was probably incarcerated there.

I was also worried about Agron. I've really come to like him, and hope he sticks around a while longer. They've really developed his character this season.

Everyone

@avclub-8759f61f74f14b5204db1b5139f51905:disqus Interesting parallels, indeed, but whereas with Crixus there was no doubt that he was the father & that Lucretia was responsible for Naevia's fate, Spartacus can't be certain re: his being the father nor ( @avclub-fcfcac2db1b067e67846e75a38bbfb65:disqus ) that Aurelia

@avclub-9ad2f925a32643f541b183503f33a8c6:disqus I understand your point, but my quarrel is more with the trained fighter v. big ugly guy with no training aspect. Like if Mike Tyson lost to a Buster Douglas who'd only ever been in some bar fights.

He definitely is Spartacus, but he & AW exist in different universes for me. After the 1st episode, I could no longer see/imagine AW doing LMc's scenes. AW was great, and set the standard, but LMc has created his own Spartacus.

Her loyalties will certainly be tested, if she has any at this point. Only Lucretia wanted her back alive. And of course Spartacus only let her live because her death wouldn't mean anything. Perhaps we'll see a Seppia + Illythia alliance.

That's the one thing that slightly puzzled me. Trained badass gladiators should be able to beat anyone, even a freakishly huge & weird-looking Egyptian. Being impervious to pain & gigantic shouldn't allow you to beat the ass of Crixus. A small complaint.

The Egyptian is the most freaky-looking human on this earth.

Alaric may be expendable, but the show would sorely lack a father/parent figure for Elena. She's too stupidly impulsive & needs someone to talk some sense into her from time to time. Plus Alaric is awesome.
