I'll take Anson Mount over Andrew Lincoln any day. In fact, if AM were in charge of TWD group, he'd have beaten Hershel to death by now, raped his women & set fire to the zombie barn.

TWD is more passive aggressive mediocrity.

Well if you're going to compare every modern western (are there many?) to Deadwood, don't bother watching. There are certain shows one should remove from memory when deciding to watch/judge a TV show. Otherwise you'll end up hating everything & be stuck watching Breaking Bad DVDs until you're six feet under.

Oh it ain't that bad. Especially compared to the steaming pile that is The Walking Dead. Plus Anson Mount is a hunk of burning love. If only he could get together with the blonde chick, they could just look pretty together & throw all attempts at storytelling under that train car.

Fjurg Van Der Ploeg would kick The Swede's ass.

Her name is Hot Woman who doesn't need to be a character, but rather to just look attractive. Which she does in spades.

Would you be disappointed in the lack of due process if that lack of due process became the norm for all criminal cases? Because that's where we headed. Don't say Bin Laden was an exception. Exceptions open the door. Though more troubling is Obama's call for the assassination of an American citizen.

Well, if it's too expensive let's just kill 'em all. Even the non-death penalty offenders.

Hot blonde? You mean Bekka, the one with the, well, she looks weird, not hot. Matter of taste, I suppose. I can't use a now-obsolete & offensive word to describe exactly how she looks. Plus that's cruel.

The guy Carrie taunted seemed to be a fan of Hitler, as evidenced by his 88 tattoo. I'm sure they love Jefferson Davis or some similar asshole, but for the modern racists it seems like it always comes back to Hitler.

And you have now hit the nail on the head. Making Wolfie an occasional character who is merely a tool is a crime against Silas Weir Mitchell & all he could bring to this show. I suppose the show could go in that direction (private eye + dog boy) after Nick discovers his boss is a bad guy. I won't be holding my breath.

Exactly what I was thinking but didn't write. Sasha Roiz I fear will be criminally underused in this show. I loved him in Caprica. He was the most compelling character for me.

Couldn't get older than FG already is.

I had/have no idea where what the barber poles come from but them puking in the poles got the heartiest laugh from me on the night.

Way too quick. That didn't ring true. Can't see why Jimmy would believe that Nucky would just quit, much less need Eli to remind him.

Nucky ain't quitting while he's ahead. He's trying to make his enemies complacent while he plans his next move. Which appears to be selling guns to the Irish in exchange for something or other. Like money.

I thought it was a pretty abrupt turn for Jimmy to suddenly be the naif celebrating Nucky's supposed surrender. He might not be as smart as Nucky, but he seemed to be extra dumb at his celebration/party.

Loved the tension there between Nucky & Sleater while Sleater was thinking that Nucky was talking about Sleater screwing Margaret. Relief all around when he realized Nucky was talking about his de-fingering of the black & tan, or whatever evil anti-republican he was.

I don't remember Atlanta looking like it had been scorched by napalm. Maybe I just wasn't paying attention.

Everyone who ever crossed Hershel is in the barn, including family members. Either that or Hershel has managed to find a way to have sex with zombies.
