If we're going to trust the writers, then maybe we need to believe that Katherine is playing an angle (duh.) She's obviously telling Damon what he wants to hear so he'll participate in some dastardly plan of hers in the future. There's got to be a reason she turned into the anti-Katharine, and we'll find that out in

His hair is the only thing dumber than Cassie.

Chris Zylka? I thought he was Gheorghe Muresan's son. How else could his jaw be so large?

Which will only beg the question of why the hell he stayed on the boat! He is obviously not among friends anymore. He's taking lessons in stupid from Cassie.

You can also download (or also watch online, not sure) an uncensored version something like 5 days after it airs. The Human Cent-iPad episode is especially funny uncensored ("why don't put some lipstick on, Mom…because I like to be kissed before I get fucked!")

Except The History Channel probably doesn't want to change its name to THC.

Enough of the slut stuff already. She left Ireland because she likes sex & got pregnant because birth control was unavailable. Her family abandoned her, and they & the church wanted to imprison her in a convent. Life has taught her that women are garbage. She's decided that she's going to use her perceived weakness a

Boring fact perhaps, but this Matt Damon-alike has the skin of an alligator and does actually look like Dempsey. I wonder about how gullible people must've been back then to believe he had a secret punch.

I think Pitt's approach is appropriate in that his one note-ness contrasts well with the overwroughtitude of those around him — Nucky's a bitch, Luciano hostile, Capone wound too tightly, Eli a nervous nelly, and Jimmy constipated.

It's hardly self-serving mode coming to America to escape from her family sending her to a convent when she got pregnant. What she said to her brother indicated that when she found herself pregnant he/they abandoned & judged her. Pretty harsh to call reacting to that self-serving.

Yeah, seems she just rebelled against fake Irish morality back home. Girl likes to get her some. Then when she got pregnant, her family abandoned her. More power to Peggy. She's through taking shit from people. She's in charge of her life now, deciding who she will take from instead.

OTOH, we could be in for a nice threesome with Katy/Peggy & Owen.

Mr. Monster, if you're going to drop "is" from the final sentence, I think it's only fair you drop the first "to" in the previous one, and probably "that" as well. I enjoy the Cookie Monster rhythm, but when a sentence starts to sound like something anyone would say, you lose the effect. Keep up the good work.

Yeah, the lack of intimacy is really jarring. I get that Bridget might be weirded out by it, but it makes no sense in the story. Do they even hug?

I'd prefer "does not want to make them sad." If Bridget sees pretending to be her sister as a kind of redemption for herself & making up for being a bad sister, then that's a good explanation for me. And I'm not sure any others would really make much sense.

Carrie seems to like the show just fine. This is far from a hostile review. She's being fair & probably thinking what we're all thinking: this could be such a good show if they'd get their act together. Not sure how you could so assuredly conclude that she doesn't like Ringer.

I'm looking forward to Tyler being on the phone with the real Siobhan while Bridget is sitting next to him or is in the room or something. That would be interesting, watching him try to put the pieces together in his mind.

Or extremely tedious. Lock those kids up in a closet & throw some food in there every now & again. Or send them to boarding school. Leave the show to the grownups. Probably because I don't have/don't want children, but these 2 bore the pants off me & just distract from the real meat of the show.

That's because people were confusing her with Lili Taylor, and wondering where the hell River Phoenix went.

Bugs the shit out of me how the reading of books like The Da Vinci Code, Dragon Tattoo, Harry Potter, etc., spread like wildfire, and suddenly everyone & their mother is making a show of reading one or more.
