I do think one of the things that makes those on TV Shows wishing for its cancellation different is that it has a very immediate impact on a lot of crew members making scale that rely on that show. Pattinson complaining about Twilight didn’t stop them from finishing the Twilight films and by all accounts he showed up

I agree except for the not getting greedy part. I want more The Kids Are Alright. Apparently the ratings took a dive after The Conners ended its short season. Seems like the thing to do would be bring it back and pair them again, but then I’m not a highly paid TV executive.

I’m a big fan of The Kids are Alright. I didn’t expect to like it but it ended up being the show I most look forward to each week. With that many kids in the cast, you’d think it’d be hard to keep track of them all, but they were each funny and weird enough in their own right to stand apart from one another. Sad to

This is a tired comment. The Stones have never had a farewell tour. They’ve been very clear they want to continue as long as they can. They also still perform at an incredibly high level, and can hold their own with any other performer, young or old.

I know they’re direct quotes but there’s something about having quotation marks around “medical treatment”, especially in the headline, that makes it sound sarcastic.

Sam Barsanti doesn’t realize anything he isn’t informed of.

I dont know man, the Ricketts family claiming poverty for FAs, on top of the Islamophobia, on top of the teaming up with fucking Sinclair takes the cake for me. Even with the World Series win.
Dan Snyder, Jim Irsay, Jed York, and Jerrah all strike me as awful as well.
Sarver sucks and is very likely the worst owner in

Dolan is bad, but he didn’t threaten to move the team because the city wouldn’t pay for renovations to the Knicks arena. Sarver did exactly that with the Suns. Forcing the people in your city to pay for renovations for the second oldest building in the NBA, for a team that is the worst in the NBA, is pretty shitty.

Sarver might be the worst owner in the NBA, the only owner close to him might be Dolan, but Dolan has a music career going for him.

Well put. This article goes into the annals of Misbegotten AV Club Reviews alongside Sonya Saraiya’s ‘WKRP In Cincinnati needed to do more social commentary’ and David Sims’30 Rock spends too much time telling jokes’.

But his death is his own doing, a choice they were forced to make, not a natural consequence of their violence.
That isn’t ambiguity. It isn’t poetic. It’s narrative cowardice.

Yo Robert Sarver, that you?

You know you’re salty when you can convince yourself college basketball is superior to the NBA.

He helped pass the Americans with Disabilities Act, he helped end acid rain by capping SO2 and NO2 emissions, he raised taxes on the rich to close a disastrous Reagan-built deficit (at enormous political cost) and he led a coalition to repel Iraq’s attempt to swallow Kuwait, which is a very defensible thing, even now.

I think Xample1 is Sonia Saraiya lurking.

M’friend, I look at the front page of AV Club these days and it’s just scrolling endlesssly through garbage I don’t care about. So, so much utter garbage corporate TV or games shit no one gives a fuck about. No, I don’t give a damn about deep-dive reviews of every episode of Sabrina because I could not give less of

Yeah.....go fuck yourself, you fascist prick.

What did he say that was so bad? He actually seemed pretty reasonable here. Or did you not even read the article like most others that comment around here?

What did he say that was so egregious? Did he defend Louis CK or Roseanne? No. Is saying that as society still haven’t found our equilibrium when it comes to the power of social media a horrible or offensive statement? No.
