I’m sorry but I do agree with OP here in that he deserves some kinda of punshiment, not 5 years in prison, but still some punishment. The law in question is definitely quite reasonable and just overall being respectful to the public. It just seems a bit unnecessary to protest it since you wouldn’t go to a church to

I’ll be generous and assume you confused, “he deserves this” with “he should probably have expected this.”

It’s a typical case of civil disobedience - breaking a bad law publicly in order to drum up support for changing it. He didn’t deserve it because nobody does because it’s a stupid law, but he *was* asking for it. The authorities merely obliged.

he deserves a fine for trespassing. Thats about it.

The difference is he could have easily avoided the whole thing by not doing it gay people can’t just avoid being gay, unless you are saying that being gay is equivalent to being stupid. On a related note check out this video where he was told that taunting and provoking lions could get him killed so he makes a video

Kind of a weird topic tbh. Do I think he should face some sort of “punishment” for this kind of thing? Yea, I think so. Up to five years in prison? Hell no.

This guy deserves it.

Why? What’s it to you if some people choose to go to a place of worship?
