Production cost easily offset by profit margin, this is an off the shelf drivetrain- essentially a bolt up and some small mods. Could be easily done on current production line.

Re-read my comment for qualifiers. What I want, Subaru doesn’t make anymore- and when they did it wasn’t terribly reliable (WRX/STI/ Outback XT) and 2/3 were too small. If Subaru made an Outback XT/STi with a 6mt and 300+ HP, I’d buy it.
Watch the last :12 seconds...
I went with the pewter wheels, glass top and blue seat belts otherwise same. That magneride will hopefully allow this thing to be a mile crushing GT car when needed.
Shit- you right!
Anybody else get a boner at the inverted mountain peak pushover? I’d heard AF guys talk of doing that in an F-16 and even one guy talk of the that in a BONE...but , jeebus, seeing it was phenomenal.

That one is at the bottom of the Pacific.
Yes, my thoughts precisely- the 2 shots of Mav in a pressure suit are a dead give away. If they’re smart...the Navy will pair up with the Chinese AF for the BFB, kick ass- and sell a few billion $ in tickets in China.
The title may shed some light on your question.
Best 4x4 Toad for a 6'5" dude that ain’t a Jeep for $30k: older G-wagen, Volvo C303, or Pinzgauer. Light, spartan, and neutral at both the gearbox and the transfer case.
Every car can be an amphibious vehicle. Once.
Given Subies questionable reliability and boring ass gearboxes of late, I’d absolutely cross shop a Ford version. An ecotech motor with 6MT option and selectable drive (rwd/4wd) would seal the deal.
Harley should call this what it is; the Last Nail in the Coffin.
I think you *might be able to get 2/3 of a race ready RS200 for $200k, probably closer to 1/2.
El(on) Camino
I will, an XF-R FYI. I’m considering one for myself.
He wants something reliable, this ain’t... and I suggested a Jag.
