ah, another year for America’s Skoda Octavia!
ah, another year for America’s Skoda Octavia!
It’s the same with the 340i Xdrive. Only the RWD models are truly fun....
Did anyone else see the european spec Audi A8 W12?
ZHP was an american package. The rest of the world had the body kit (m-sport/ m tech II) and interior, no upgraded software, cams, steering rack, exhaust, etc.)
It’s not the enthusiast option. It corrupts steering feel, adds weight, increases ride height, and comes with suspension that is crappier than base and/or sport suspensions that come with the RWD cars.
Major Key: Avoid xDrive models if you want a BMW that handles and has steering feedback. They have number steering systems, sit higher (and don’t come with sport suspension, even with m-sport or sport line). They are very different cars to their RWD counterparts.
Facelift was updated with a 6 speed.
I am a bmw fanboy, and i have to say, you are right on the money.
You guys pay higher taxes based on engine displacement (many years ago) or CO2 output (today). No such thing in America.
Apparently America is trying to turn itself into Europe.
did you know manual transmission BMWs, especially the performance oriented ones, sell for more than thier automatic counterparts? You won’t have any problem.
people pay that for an STI. It’s cheap...
does volvo even use that platform anymore?
well, the only “american” fords that still exist are the mustang, taurus, F series, E series, explorer, and flex. Everything is now european (thankfully). We can “buy american” and not have to drive garbage.
they’re the same ones as all sport package 2/3/4 series. Very very supportive and comfortable.
test drive a VW in MT. I owned a 2012 mk6 VW jetta GLI. VW manuals drive terribly. They have a lot of rev hang and the soft engine mounts make them sloppy, jerky, and vague.
I had a 2012 6 speed mk6 GLI between my e46 330ci and my M235i. VW manuals are vague, awful, garbage, exacerbated by the crappy OEM soft engine mounts they use. DSG on the other hand....
Amen! How i wish my M235i was an E46 m3!
Speaking from experience, you won’t like the Golf R after driving a BMW (especially if you like driving manual). Why not an M235i?
your family has 2 M’s and you like the WRX more? Blasphemy!
