Well apparently if a woman does a photoshoot, we aren’t allowed to take her seriously as an intellectual anymore (thinking of when Trump’s base turned on Megyn Kelly after the first GOP debate and posted pictures of her modeling half-naked with captions like “You call yourself a mother!?”) but men can get a free pass

I’m a big fan of Joe Rogan’s podcast and he had Alex Jones on for his 911th one (which I thought was a funny nod for his episode). They were drinking and smoking for most of it and either Alex Jones is just an amazing actor who can stay in-character while being really drunk and high, or it’s not an act.

“Pittman and Speciale, along with Beverly Boswell and Jay Adams, also introduced House Bill 69 (actually, it’s not nice), which would allow any United States citizen over the age of 18 to carry a concealed firearm without having to apply for a permit. Larger guns, like shotguns and rifles, would still require

The consistent use of the same picture for all Peggy Noonan-related posts has caused me to believe that she always wears the same outfit and facial expression.

My friend in little league did this to me while he was playing shortstop on a passed ball. He didn’t act it out well, cuz he was just meaning it as a joke, but the field ump warned him that he could be ejected for it. So it’s at least not okay in Little League (or at least it wasn’t over a decade ago), couldn’t say

Pretty sure the average GPA of college males took a short dive after Skyrim came out.

Showed this picture to my jewish neighbor and that was his response as well, and he’s convinced his jewish friends would all want it too.

Apparently Rudy became a mormon 3 months ago, which just feels like a weird sentence.

“He’s sounds like a kid trying to answering a homework question when he didn’t read the assigned chapter.”

“Maybe one of these days they’ll get that no-hitter.”

Seems like more of a “sell” to me. While it will be available to anyone making <$100k, I’d bet that more use will be made out of it by the upper-end of that group, since lower income students graduate HS at a lower rate and would create fewer eligible candidates.

It’s certainly not a problem unique to Kinja. I don’t know many people that can actually articulate both sides of political arguments. Most pundits will use a weak opposing argument to prove their point and I think people believe those are real arguments. That’s the hardest part of watching conservative news because

“I constantly hear people saying they aren’t affected by what they see or hear in the media. Sure...right...But what disturbs me more is why did my mother, who taught me to be wary of grandiose claims, false advertisements, and emotional manipulation, fall for this doomsday cult?”

“And that climate change is just some sort of “left wing” propaganda that’s leading us toward...... something?”

Disclaimer: I disagree with the argument, just providing information. I’ve been diving into conservative youtube channels and sites lately to get a better grasp of their arguments. If your father/step-mom

I call it the trickle-down propaganda of children who grew up in a Fox News watching household. Even if they learned Fox was BS when they grew up, they’d still hear their parents complaining about Clinton long before then.

Second ban overturned was judicial overreach. You can applaud it now, but when a judge does the same to a Dem policy in 4 years, you’ll be pissed. Precedence matters.
And healthcare “victory” was moreso a self-inflicted Republican defeat because their healthcare views are too wide-ranging across the spectrum to come up

“Nope, it was all Hillary Clinton’s fault because the Dems are just as bad as the Repubs because reasons. (Reasons meaning internalized misogyny that we must call by some other name.)“
Thinking the Dems and Repubs are the same is misogynist now?
