Dude, this is so right. Thanks for writing this. Can’t tell you how many times my attempt at budgeting fell short due to over categorization, over complicating, over thinking. 

I think a little charity is in order, he stated that diversity is his goal and that he is committed to it. Even the author “granted” him this, but he may have been speaking in generalities and wasn’t necessarily trying to skirt the topic.
