They really are getting too big. But I've really like the size of my nexus 4. I prefer its screen ratio to the iphone's. And its much nicer for watching video. But much bigger and it wouldn't fit in my pocket.
The 4" iPhone 5 is the perfect size. They'd have to pay me to use a bigger phone.
