Greek organizations are a blight. I don’t care if you specifically had a fantastic experience in yours. That’s great. But they’re useless organizations that are more trouble than they’re worth. Oh, but Eldritch, they do volunteering and charity work! Yeah? You want to volunteer and raise money? Join a charity

If there’s one thing we can rely on, it’s that European countries will accept African immigrants with open arms.

Strongly recommended: get a hold of Nancy Friday’s old-school compendiums of women’s and men’s sexual fantasies. Reading other peoples fantasies goes a very long way toward being uninhibited about your own. Definitely tops my list of formative sexual experiences.

‘Who has two thumbs and wants you to step on their nuts in high heels? THIS GUY!"

Nah, the worst is having a partner who is so insecure that they feel the need to critique whether or not the fantasy in question is edgy and hip enough.

A little girl was telling me about the movie Emily Rose and she was afraid of getting possessed by demons. She didn't like the fact that her mom was making her watch scary movies. I knew some of the real story it was based on. I told her a little about it and that the girl was suffering from some kind of mental

I feel for the watersports and shitsports people....you know they just have a hard time finding like minded souls

A few times in WoW. But for the most part no, because I tend to be salty :3

It doesn’t sound like you got it too bad and I guess it depends on what platform you’re on. One story I’ve given before on here was on Xbox Live back in the day. Me and my friend were playing Tetris Worlds and a girl randomly joined our game. We didn’t haze her or anything and had a good long conversation while

Any random gift giving? I’ve heard about guys pretending to be women online since women sometimes get free stuff from creepy guys.

It’s not that “girls can’t speak because they’re girls,” it’s that “girls can’t speak because they are quickly made to feel horribly uncomfortable and sexually targeted.”

Most guys think the problem we have is the verbal harassment/”trash talk,” like “get back in the kitchen” or whatever. But for me personally, it’s actually more the “positive” attention, because it tends to be creepy and weird. Random friend requests, stalking behavior, and so on.

I can definitely attest to this, as an adult woman who has played video games since I was kid. I never EVER use a mic unless my husband is in my chat party or I already know the person. I don’t get nearly as much of the “She can’t play, she’s a girl” or the “Ohh sweet a girl. You got pics? I wanna see ya naked, babe.

Tell me about it, unless I know everyone in the group I will not even turn my mic on. I think it’s pretty common for a lot of the slightly older age groups(mid twenties on) where mics were still not the norm when we started out gaming and the sudden insurge of much younger gamers using mics totally put us off using

Grown man checking in.

I have given up on using the mic when playing anybody who isn’t on my friends list. Maybe I just have bad luck, or it’s the games I play, but there are some truly garbage people out there.

My daughter pretty much proves this. She loves Call of Duty but never really bothered online since she could not have a female character. Well they add those in and she preorderd the game the day the news was announced. The sad part is no one really thought about how something so small could be such a huge thing to so

Now if we can just get the teenage boys to turn off their mics our victory will be complete!
but seriously boy girl lizard whatever I dont want to hear any of you. I dont know about the rest of the people here but I use my mic when I have to and I despise every second I spend listening to others speak, video game chat

I think this is very genre dependant. My guild in World of Warcraft for example (and it’s not a small guild) has a female guild/raid leader and about half of the officer team is female, I don’t think I’ve ever heard a single sexist comment in chat. Most of these women are very active in voice-chat too.

Funny, sounds like teenage girls play games the way I do.
