Come to a controlled stop, spin the car clockwise and then rejoin around the same spot where he went off (as shown in yellow).

Two years earlier there was a nuclear accident, the Kyshtym Disaster, far south of Dyaltov Pass.  The Soviets were probably quick to check to see if the victims were a result of unaccounted nuclear fallout. http://www.environmentandsociety.org/arcadia/nuclear-disaster-kyshtym-1957-and-politics-cold-war

I remember old Jalopnik articles about the Coda! It sorta looks like a GTA 4 or GTA 5 vehicle; it mimics something specific but makes it generic enough to avoid copyright. Interesting to know the it was design by Italians and, honestly, it aged decently for a vehicle made in 2004, especially with Coda updates.

Given the performance of the Cadillac Northstar LMP from 2000-2002, I wouldn’t be surprised if that was the case.

I’m calling it now: the upcoming Mach 1 will be the finest non-Shelby V8 Mustang of the S550 (current Mustang) chassis, if not the most refined S550 unless Ford releases something even more bonkers after 2022. It will be the swan song before the Mustang goes electric.

Neat but it’s a shame GM never showed the world the potential of the Blackwing engine (good or bad potential). Like, shove that motor into the DPi Cadillacs and let’s see how well it does while abused for 24+ hours!

I really appreciate y’all doing this again, especially posting this on Friday (in the US) instead of Saturday morning/afternoon like in the past, so readers like me can plot ahead!

They can make do with the General Grant instead!

...I wonder if that could be made eligible for the failed FIA Supercar class for LeMans.

If you’re not planning on pulling a trailer, then yeah!

The gas was probably banned for fire concerns (notice how much fuel spills out of the car when they fill it up to the brim). I guess electric is okay although you’re still dealing with a cutting blade getting hot as it tears through sheetmetal/CF.

James Deane, an Irish force of nature in the drifting world, especially after winning the Formula Drift championship 3 years in a row (2017-2019). I could see him doing videos/stunts if he ever decides to hang-up his 2JZ-powered S15.

Eventually you’ll need to hold a poll or contest to give that thing a unique paint job if it doesn’t already come with one. That or wrap it with a cool design!

There’s a few tricks to sit lower: namely the foamectomy which drops you about an inch or two depending on how much foam you remove.

That’s pretty rad, even if they removed the period-correct Greenwood kit instead of building upon it. Hopefully that kit lives on in another C4.

Minus the cast being a bunch of kids, that show is pretty good and there’s so much automotive eye-candy.

RIP: Alan and his “Underbird”

That makes sense now. I was like, “WTF? They postponed the Greenville, SC Radwood and they held another one instead?”

If the top is black then it’s actually more accurate to the original cars:
