Further proof of the correlation between supercar ownership and prostate problems. They should come with some kind of health warning.

Quite right... 'strong' does not necessarily equal safe, but neither does 'big' (especially when there's always something bigger).

Size does not equal safety. My 1.6 has a full roll racing roll cage and of course the braking, acceleration and manoeuvrability to avoid accidents in the first place. The 0.7 is made of one of the toughest alloys around and again has manoeuvrability and braking on its side.

I have 0.7l that allows me to cruise rather easily at 110mph over on the autobahn. And no, it doesn't have 2 wheels.

Wow! I thought the Corvette was the poor man's Corvette?

Mine! Especially if it gets blocked in by a shopping trolley again.

Thanks. Build report is going up today - my blog is www.racingseven.com and I'm on the caterham Motorsport forums, but it's a closed group. I'm daemonoid on pretty much all the forums I post on.

Thanks! Can't wait to get it on the track - I've got to pass all kinds of tests to get it road registered so it'll still be a month or so until I get to drive it further than the end of the drive.

Yeah, an original is a Lotus. Wrong choice of words - but this is the true seven.

Bah! Why have a copy when you can get the original and have the piece of mind of building it yourself. Just finished my Caterham:

But do you not see the difference between your reaction to the bikers vs the many hundreds of videos with car drivers doing the same? Bikers are put in to a group defined by their machine and not allowed to be an individual, "one biker did this on video so they're all idiots". See a similar car related one and it's

There's been a recent study done in the UK about bikers' and drivers' attitudes towards each other. One of the big things was that bikers are dehumanised in the eyes of car drivers. Somehow drivers see bikers not as an individual human like themselves, but instead as a group of non-humans defined by their machine.

It would be better but it's already very good! I have one and love it if only for the turbo noises. It is 6 speed already, but i guess you mean a 6 speed manual. The gearbox is ok once you're used to it and you can change using the sequential stick or the flappy paddles.

Looks like a tree hit the b pillar in that accident. Due to it's shortness a smart would've sailed past and landed in the soft field instead.

It's just after 48s for a frame or two...

Anyone else notice the random face pic?

oh wow, I can't imagine being in a relationship where my girlfriend wouldn't support what I do as a hobby.

I'm astounded by this, my first bike after passing my test was a Hyosung gt250r. It did 0-60 in ~7s, just under 100mph. It made it one of the quickest vehicles on the road. Sure it'd be beaten by bigger bikes, and a few sports cars but how on earth can you claim a vehicle with mx5 beating performance can't keep up

He saw a gap!

Now playing

I've just signed up for the caterham academy 2013. I'll post my equivalent of this little scrape in the middle of next year some time!
