Reading stuff like this makes me really happy to live in The Netherlands (you know, a place where people dont blindly believe that capitalism without governmental intervention always is a good thing)

The Office example isnt really the same if you ask me. Office isnt a key feature to Windows, or at least, Microsoft has decided it not to be (hence its a separate product). So not selling it on Mac would cost them money, since people who have a Mac but need Office for their work would be excluded.

Putting it on Android would be shooting in their own foot and they know it. People here seem to be assuming that there will be a "next gen" for smartphones, but there wont be. Platforms will keep getting updates like the iPhone went to iOS4, not like a new console cycle. So they will have to invest in the platform…
