Tesla’s infotainment and sensor design team is based out of Palo Alto, CA and they have/had access to a huge talent pool when it comes to industry stars in consumer electronics design. I know a ton of ex-Apple engineers that went to work for Tesla

Easier yet, the plates might just be stolen plates. I’ve had my plate stolen before and replaced with another one taken off a stolen bike. Had 6 police officers pull their guns on me at an intersection, not fun.

not to mention an exhaust that meets emissions, cheaper suspension and brake bits, less complex tank/engine case covers, more upright riding position, etc. I would be VERY surprised if it looks even half as good as the renders when it comes out.
