they are also rediculously out of reach for someone making 50k or less a year. these people cant or wont spend the rest of their lives paying off a home. and i think that idea makes alot of people stop and think about how much it sucks.

my house currently is cool layout but rediculous in getting central air anywhere. my dream house is actually completely underground, with skylights and a windowed outdoor courtyard in the middle. dirt is better insulator than anything.

im afraid humans have an instinct to survive as successfully as possible just like any other organism. part of that instinct is to breed as much as possible too. we create things to help us survive so well, that competition with other organisms and even ourselves, is not keeping our population down. as technology goes…
