So at this point what you’re really saying is you don’t believe in people actually serving their time. That’s where we disagree. I’m not into perpetual punishment.

The time he served here is not up for debate for this particular topic. The court in its dumbass lack of wisdom let him out. Once that happens he’s considered to have served his time, and should be eligible for most public sector positions.

I’m dead ass serious. Domestic violence is involving family members (usually a spouse) unless his wife is starting a small business his charge really doesn’t have an adverse effect on that job.

So basically, anybody with a criminal record should not be allowed to have a public sector job? Got it.

Gonna have to agree to disagree. Once you’re out of prison you should be eligible for almost any job any other citizen would be eligible for. Like I said in another post. You can’t have a rape conviction, and work at a women shelter, but what does that have to do with you being an accountant for example?

Why wouldn’t he though? Do you permanently lose the ability to get a job if you’re out of prison, but your crime is highly upsetting?

Not getting why we’re supposed to be mad that he got a job with the city or county. Do we want people punished forever or not? I need people to pick one. We’re glad when felons rightfully get their rights to vote back after prison, but its a scandal when they get a job after their time is done.

Guessing I’m the only one that finds her character annoying and not entertaining. Maybe its because I feel that her acting is bad.
