Agreed—usually given away by them going to take a sip of something ostensibly freshly poured/opened, and they tip it back like they’re going after the last couple of drops (or the flailing about like in this video).

Cool, thanks for sharing that wonderful story.

Never, but that’s mostly because my office coffee mug is being used as a pen holder.

Obviously there will always be some dust that kicks up, but yeah... I don’t have any particularly strong allergies, but I still take it outside (I live in a duplex, I get it’s not necessarily an option for apartment dwellers) and empty it into one of the billion grocery bags I have lying around, inside the rim of the

We all could use someone like Elizabeth Banks in our lives, because she is delightful.

First thing I thought of when I saw this headline. I also think blitzing the veg in the food processor and sauteing before hand is a nice touch to help to ensure a great texture without having random large chunks strewn about.

That’s basically how I reheat anything that should have any crisp, if I’m using the microwave. Nuke to cook, then the toaster oven on broiler to bring it back to life.

It’s funny to me, seeing some of the responses like this one. Popcorn is one of the few things I never put in the microwave. Granted, everything else is either just reheating leftovers or refreshing a bagel or croissant, but never popcorn. It just comes out so much better on stovetop with minimal effort that I can’t

Nice, thanks!

If someone wanted to roast tomatoes in there for a lazy roasted tomato sauce, what time/temp would you recommend?

I mean where specifically, which restaurants do that instead of cooking a fresh egg. I’ve never seen the egg tube being used anywhere but I will readily admit that means absolutely nothing.

Out of curiosity, where is it used? It seems like producing those at any level is more work and less efficient than just having employees crack an egg into a ring mold.

But it’s not real? You get a freshly* cracked and cooked egg when you get the round egg.

One of the most important things I’ve ever learned was to say “sub round egg”. Every breakfast sandwich they have is made better, but yes, the McGriddle in particular is pushed to a whole new level. I used to rarely ever order the McGriddle, specifically because of the trash folded egg, but years ago I found out I

I got no beef with garlic presses. I don’t have one, but not out of any principle, my last one just broke and I haven’t replaced it. I usually only used it when I needed a whole lot because cleaning is a pain, and I don’t have a dishwasher. But I’m definitely not fundamentally against them.

Also, have you tried it? Maybe the tacos aren’t that good.

I’m like Memento, if I don’t tell you about it right away and then get distracted... poof, it’s gone.

Not unless both ingredients are bagels.

I’ll file that away for the time I never use the word again.
