Oh yeah, I also have a covered front porch, and, um, don’t live in Seattle, so that helps. I’ve always got within arms length anyways, so to not catch the notification would be almost impossible. Plus, if I order food, I’m probably obsessively tracking it anyways.

I solve this problem with pure laziness. I get the text/alert that my food was delivered, then eventually get off my ass to go grab it. Granted, I live on the first floor of a double in a low-crime neighborhood, so I understand it’s not an option for everyone, but it’s a great one for me!

I totally get it, but there’s something about him that makes me enjoy his schtick, even if I would hate it coming from anyone else.

Matty Matheson put out this video last weekend, in time for Canadian thanksgiving, and it looks delicious.

Thank you for that, that gave me a good laugh during a long, dull day at work!

Holy shit, how did I forget about Jos Louis?!??!?! Now I really want one. And I’m stuck at work and not in Canada.

Best place to keep them! Keeps them from making your hands a complete mess, and also gives a nice crispness when you bite into them.

Also, if you plan on doubling the recipe, and it’s stuff you plan on using on a regular basis, I recommend investing in some FIFO bottles to store them in. They’re perfect for storing on your fridge door, and doesn’t tie up tupperware that would be better served for storing leftovers. Bonus, you can take your

2-packs or 4-packs.

I’m not submitting this for competition, since it’s not my recipe, but now seems as good a place as any to mention that Rick Martinez’ (formerly of Bon Appetit) chili colorado is absolutely spectacular, and worth everyone’s time to make it.

It’s anarchy, I tell ya, pure anarchy!

I normally look at the “thin” label as two ploys, both different sides of the same coin. The first, as you said, to pay more for less, but the second is to get you to pay more for something they can sell to you as “healthy” but usually either isn’t as good, or again, is just a smaller version.

That’s all very true, but I didn’t grow up going to anywhere else after baseball practice, I grew up going to Tim Horton’s afterwards. Like so much that is bringing comfort to everyone in the world in a fucked up time, it’s about the nostalgia, not the product.

I don’t get the nostalgia for the coffee, but since I haven’t had one nearby for 17 years, every time I drive by a Tim’s, I have to stop for a box of TimBits. A few years ago a restaurant group announced they were going to open upwards of 100 THs in Northeast Ohio. So far only 3 have been opened, the closest to

The funniest thing about the Aero bar is that there really isn’t much to it. Like, it’s the exact same chocolate they use for everything else, but aerated. And it’s goddamn delicious.

Fuck, how did I forget ketchup chips?! Those are still my favorite chip flavor, hands down.

When I first moved back to the US after spending ages 2 through 18 in Canada, I would grab the 2-pack just figuring that was all they had at that store. I was furious when I learned it was either the 2 or 4-pack, or a bag full of the singles. I inevitably started buying the bag, because then I can have as many or as

Maybe it’s because the coffee flavor isn’t too overwhelming in and of itself, or the rest of the delicious treat mellows it out, but I only recently started drinking coffee (it’s still not exactly my favorite) and I loooooved Coffee Crisp when I was a kid. Tiramisu is also arguably my favorite dessert. But coffee had

I grew up in Canada. Of the food related Items I miss the most, it’s a much more abundant supply of poutine, Coffee Crisp, Aero bars, and a standard 3-pack of Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups.

I do love using these, although when I order takeout it’s almost never anything that comes in a container like these. Which means when I started making ice cream, I bought some cheap plastic ones for storage and so that when I gave some away I didn’t care if I got them back. Then, I started using them for everything.
