$159 fucking dollars for a wireless version of earbuds I already find pretty uncomfortable? Apple can seriously go fuck themselves.

I approve of this comment, especially as someone who’s ears are not compatible with earbuds. This whole airpod thing looks like a tiny ass thing that will fall out of my ears and get immediately lost. I buy $15 headphones from CVS and am more than satisfied with the result.

Ugh, even with months of rumors to help me get used to the idea that the iPhone 7 would get rid of the headphone jack, I’m still super pissed about it. Fuck bluetooth, and fuck tiny dongle adapters.. I hate that there’s a single jack on the device. I, like many people, connect to my car stereo via the AUX jack and it

$159 extra for wireless headphones that you will lose the second someone bumps into you on a crowded subway platform.

I recently spent $150 on extremely high-quality corded on-ear headphones for when I conduct interviews. Fuck you Apple.

Also, parents. Children are terrible at choosing parents!

Trump is an asshole scam artist, but I honestly don’t give a shit if these people get paid or not because they chose to perform for the benefit of an odious slimeball.

I teach university courses and have a no electronics policy in class. No phones, tablets, phablets, laptops allowed. I’ve had this policy for over 5 years and students’ scores and my teaching evals have gone up. I’ve done the research to back up my decision, and still use a lot of tech in other ways (and students use

To be fair Boston and the rest of Massachusetts is still pretty damn racist.

It’s an interesting position to be in, but I think it’s easier to be someone less naturally gifted but with a work ethic than vice versa - the people I know who were smart but unfocused have suffered a lot more in life and are generally less happy.

You keep repeating this viewpoint after being consistently proven wrong. Just because you say these things doesn’t make it true, magical thinking is not real. Continuing to spread your opinion around like it is fact is disinformation at best, and treason at worst. Why do you hate America?

Weird how none of those are refugees.

Saying it doesn’t make it true. The US has some of the strictest immigration policies in the developed world. It isn’t foolish or myopic to dismiss the risks of resettling Syrian refugees because those risks are microscopically tiny. Your xenophobic fears are simply unnecessary.

i dont really wear that much of it but i dont see how this is hard to understand? it’s comfy but still flattering and doesnt make you look ‘sloppy’ (like my preferred look of sweats and baggy t-shirts lol)

I feel like this article ignores simpler, more mundane explanations for the popularity of “athleisure” as a style: comfort and convenience.

However, if I go to the gym and then run errands, I look and feel like a horrible stinky disaster of a human being. I only rock the athleisure as glorified pajamas I can wear outside without shame.

It’s funny when I see women in athletic wear without a sweat walking to Jamba Juice while smoking cigarettes.

I’m loaded up on athleisure because guilt-free pajamas in public is my jam.

I don't think that word has quite the same connotations in Mother England as it does here.
