So your saying that Hunter B with his $21,000 camgirl habit is an upstanding citizen :)

Trump with a blue Senate was better than Biden with a red senate.”

Biden has zero coattails, too bad someone courageousness enough to campaign and charismatic like Bernie wasn’t put up as the non-Trump top of the ticket.

So your saying he is going to order the supply of covid treatments, vaccines, and PPE to be incinerated before Biden-Harris takes office?

I think the issue is now that it looks like Biden will probably win but will have a weak house Dem majority for 2 years and maybe a republican house after 2022 gerrymandering. Also a Republican senate for his whole term, confirming his cabinet and judges, and running investigations to stir the scandal pot.

Senate is game over, Republicans held the majority. They are gaining big in house too making things tighter (and less progressive) there.

If the worst happens and there is still a person of (orange) color in office, would it be the time to start taking more seats at the red tables?

Read a book, watch a movie, soak in a bath tub... phone off. news off. social media off. Buy a local paper the next day focus on the local results, cope with the national results.

If I could totally tune out, I would just eat some shrooms, turn off my phone, unplug my TV, and listen to music. It would help to flush out the psychic damage of the past 1-4 years and deal with the reality that exists on Wednesday.

How come these countries with outrageously difficult immigration requirements don’t face the same level of opposition as we give to the xenophobic autocrat(s) here in the USA?

This.

If I expect a line for voting, I pretend to be barely informed voter who only came out to vote for my brother-in-law’s cousin who is running for judge/school board or something. I print out a second copy of the list of races/ballot items and leave it blank except for the race I said which I will have highlighted and

There is a proposed state constitutional amendment in Louisiana that is designed to clear the way for a future state law by explicitly saying that abortion is NOT protected by the LA constitution.

What is the deductible on that? My company’s plan (for 2021 yay open enrollment season) is $392.64/month for emp+children+spouse with an aggregate** $3000 deductible, 80% Co-Insurance, and $6000 OOP Max.

Unless and until there is universal healthcare in the US I don’t think retiring early is something anyone in the US can do without at least $2.5MM (single) or $4MM (couple), their home paid off, and their children out of college.
