I’d disagree that the economy is better under Biden. He’s been a lousy President and has done little to help the country outside of creating more divide. Like Trump, he wants the country split and does everything he can to pit Republicans vs Democrats. The Border has gotten worse under him and is completley out of

The point is not that Biden is bad and Trump is good, or that Trump and Biden are interchangeable.

>baseless and shameless attacks on YOUR candidate

I don’t understand how you see that as revisionist cope??? A vote for Biden in 2020 was absolutely a vote for not Trump for many of us. Any milquetoast democrat would have won that election. And now we’re seeing the problem with that approach. There’s little to no enthusiasm to re-elect Biden, except for those of us

I mean...don’t get me wrong. Trump is obviously a moron who (as Jon Stewart pointed out) regularly says things that I’d expect from my 6 year old nephew. But in terms of visual and effects of age, I think they are correct that Trump does not come off as senile or fragile as Biden. Which is a problem in an election.

Why? He’s old and only getting older, and it’s showing. And Stewart’s show last night was very funny in the way it pointed it out.

The problem to begin with here is that you are viewing the media as “the other side” to the Republicans. That’s not the way it is meant to be. The function of real media like NYT or CNN or MSNBC or whoever else is not to be the opposite of Fox News. As much as you may want them to be. It’s to be impartial, which means

How would we know, since all his advisors and handlers are working overtime to promise us that in private he’s sharper than ever and has the stamina of a young man?

No. “Someone not strong enough to beat him” is literally anyone who runs against an incumbent because of the way the mechanism works. It’s career suicide and splits the party, so obviously no decent candidate would do it. Sticking to one term would’ve allowed a better candidate to run.

He beat trump 1) because of COVID, and 2) because people were scared of trump.  Another democrat could have done that, and would have a better chance of reelection now.

I don’t think a single thing Stewart said last night could be characterized as implying that the two are “equally bad.” Not by any wild stretch of the imagination.

It was a lot funnier than I expected. Then it was ruined by that dogshit interview with that ghoul from the Economist.

I’m old enough to remember when 80% of TDS was just a clip of a Republican saying one thing and then another clip of the same Republican saying the opposite thing, followed by Jon making Confused Dog Sound. He basically *was* Class Clown Rachel Maddow.

You just become ridiculously partisan and scared since he was on last. If Stewart came back and coddled either party, it wouldn’t be the daily show with Jon Stewart. It would be a 30 minute version of Rachel maddow. And nobody wants that. Although, I would take it over an hour version.

You are a massive part of the problem.  Its not that he’s old, its that he’s in major mental decline.  YOU are one of the reasons the Democratic Party is in this mess.  You want to pretend like it isn’t happening when it clearly is.

word of mouth. it still happens!

How have you guys STILL not fixed the thing where movies 9 and 10 are listed as a second 1 and 2?  It’s embarrassing.

I don’t watch the show, know little about Jamie Chung but...why would that be surprising?  She doesn’t seem particularly famous, it’s a popular show, why would she be above appearing in a cameo?

I love original Law & Order and it’s been painful to witness how bad the resurrected production has been. I couldn’t watch it. The original often played loose with jurisprudence, but still attempted to take a deep dive into legal quandaries. And even though the show mostly ignored personal melodrama, each character

when she convinced an Arabic immigrant to turn informant and promised her protection, only to see ICE deport the woman and her young daughter.”
