It is not, in fact, an idiom.

the final season of Succession was funnier than The Bear, and it won for “Drama”. I love both, the categories are preposterous.

There is no logical debate here at all. The Bear is a fantastic show, but it shouldn’t remotely be considered a comedy, and it’s not fair to the other actual comedies to put them in that category.

Oh I have seen the error of my ways now that you have called my comment dumb a second time!

The joke isnt about the actors.

This just in:   Actor would work, if asked!

I feel like the double-edged sword of franchises like Marvel itself is fans crave cohesion and would prefer a clumsy, wiki-friendly pivot to suspending their disbelief.

Not yet but once we bottle them they're gonna sell like hot cakes.

Yikes, does something this self-evident really need to be explained to people? If so, let me add that Wonka has already made $150 mil globally, and is on pace to make more globally than The Marvels by, likely, a hefty amount. It will be more successful irrespective of budgets.

This is crazy. Have you ever watched either of them? Ken’s interaction with the contestants is much better than Mayim’s. After a contestant tells a personal anecdote, Ken will respond with a witty or thoughtful comment. Mayim invariably laughs and responds “That’s great!” She’s slow to confirm answers, and can’t stop

My God may not be your idea of God, but one thing I know of my God — he makes me a humanitarian. I am a proud Jew because we gave the world the Bible and the story of Joseph.  Albert Einstein

Truly, it’s a bummer that she was fired for union solidarity, and not . . . . everything else.

The article isn’t about the games’ plots but about their design and gameplay sensibilities. At this point I generally prefer story-oriented games (mostly because of the time required to get into an RPG), but playing from one cutscene to the next is inherently dull, even if everything is polished and well written.

An insult to the collective intelligence of its audience. Without wishing to spoil anything, two barely competent protagonists are able to circumvent security at one of the most secure facilities in the world using a “ruse” that wouldn’t get you past a bouncer at Hooters. Lazy writing from beginning to end. Not a

Honestly, I wonder if people actually like his movies or is it that because he is supporting the “right messages” in them that people don’t want to criticize them for fear that people will think they like Dick Cheney or something if they admit that McKay’s “Vice” was crap.

To be honest, I feel quite strongly that Adam McKay should no longer be allowed to make any movies about anything, so this is only halfway good news for me.

I watched “Don’t look up.” After that, the legalized serial killer thing sounds more interesting.

Pretty sure there was a brief showing of either Blood or Cheese in there. Strong candidate for the ugliest part of the season premiere, if they include it.

What I feel is missing from a lot of these reports on the study (beyond how weird it is to lump 10 year-olds’ opinions on this with 24 year-olds) is the fact that there’s less sex in film than ever, yet erotic content is more at our fingertips; it feels like a lot of people conflate the availability of porn with the

We’re probably living through the most sexless period in movies in decades. Erotic thrillers used to be genre unto themselves and now they’re basically nonexistent.
