So the anonymous actor was Brian Cox, right?
This comment stuck in my mind even all these years later.
That’s a remarkably unflattering light to paint Team Ninja in, especially considering how consistently great they are at combat when compared to their contemporaries. What they lack in elegance, they make up for in sheer mechanical complexity and that isn’t faint praise.
Critics provide a service to the public, giving us advance knowledge of potential shows/movies/music we may or may not want to spend money/time on. They owe it to the public to be accurate in regards to the quality of the product. As long as they don’t get personal, they absolutely have the right to critique a…
This feels weird coming from him because the critical reception of his projects has been, if anything, kinder than what they probably deserve.
Thanks Adam McKay for the voiceover at the start of the video explaining the joke. It’s a really helpful technique to continually spell out what’s happening for the audience and it proves that you are a true master of comedy.
I’ll never forgive Seth for damaging what is perhaps my favorite IP, The Green Hornet. a BRILIIANT film could have been adapted from the NOW comics but instead we got this schlock. And he wants to pretend like he was surprised and somehow hurt that people thought the movie was garbage?
Except he didn’t really “sleight” them, Gunn stated that pre-existing productions won’t be a part of his projects’ continuity.
Those CW shows sucked. It was like watching Beverly Hills 90210 except sometimes the characters would throw on costumes.
the The Suicide Squad director noted that previous run of DC Comics adaptations were all disjointed and confusing—and he specifically referenced The CW’s Arrowverse as an example of this alongside “the Joss Whedon Justice League” and the Snyderverse as distinct things
Dude, you were responsible for a bunch of the worst things about the whole Arrowverse. Sit down.
A lot of talented people are out of work now due to the CW’s decision to end all the ArrowVerse shows, which generally had a great run. I don’t know why you would blame James Gunn for that. You don’t hear the kids from Stargirl complaining about it, as great a trajectory as that show was on. Time to move on to the…
Weird that it never occured to him its because his writing is mediocre at best and rooted in the last century, while prestige tv happened around him.
The show dared to shift focus away from senior officers on a Starfleet posting, by focusing on one person’s growth...
I think each season’s been getting better and better. It’s a show that made no apologies about wearing its heart on its sleeve and I absolutely adored it for that reason. It took Troi’s advice to Data “that emotions aren’t good or bad; it’s what you do with them that counts” and showed how empathy is the absolutely…
I’m not sure this article needed to end with, “With any luck, this dismal project will never see the light of day.” I’m sure there’s dozens and dozens of hard-working crew members pouring themselves into this production that would rather have it released than thrown on the scrap heap.
C’mon, if you’re going to pull examples of previous collaborations for Statham how do you not go with Snatch, Ritchie’s best movie??
This comment is better satire than South Park has managed in at least 15 years.
Can we be honest? The show went severely downhill circa 2008 and has been unwatchable since.
