Using a webcam did not work for me as it never showed my live image, just a black rectangle with crosshairs.

You bring up a good point about Europe having carrier-independent handsets. That's a big plus for them as they can shop for a carrier independent of their handset in a truly competitive market space.

@butaneko: What the map does not reflect is that carriers in countries with lower monthly charges don't subsidize the cost of the phone. Consumers pay full retail for the phone and enjoy $11-22 monthly fees for voice service.

This sounds very similar to the HemCon® Bandage, which is made less than 10 miles from my house. Their products use something called chitosan which is derived from shrimp shells.

Any EAA member will tell you that this is not at all unusual.
