After 3 episodes and not a single laugh, I bailed. I love the original movie, but the magic just isn’t there for the show.
This one doesn’t apply, third person view is different from first person view. You don’t grow a second head out of your asshole in third person games, clearly a cameraturtle on a floating cloud is following you.
Google has had this on Android for a while.
You don’t think that’s more likely to be an issue with your particular phone?
And PCs are SUPER more powerful than things like N64 and PS2 but their emulators often have problems that make them run worse than on original hardware.
It’s not that simple. Emulating a different piece of hardware is much more demanding on the system. If you had one of the old PowerPC powerbooks, and tried to run windows, it would run horribly on it, as an example.
This is actually surprising.
The way emulation works is that the machine emulating the game needs to be exponentially more powerful because it has to run the OS that is emulating the OS that is running the game lol. Most systems that are backwards compatable actually have almost a separate system build into them to…
The X1 might be more powerful, but the emulation requires quite a bit of technical wizardry. The 8 core x84 AMD chip is running at 1.75 ghz (I think, this is off the top of my head) while the tri-core powerpc runs at 3.2 ghz. The processor architecture is completely different, and the base clock speeds are different…
Footage of the woodpecker starts at 37:54 for those interested...
Making games run better than on original hardware is actually a very tall order when it comes to emulation.
Please don’t be an exclusive.
WAIT A FUCKING MINUTE.
There’s a lot of free software that straight up has done video playback better than Windows stuff for years so ...really this isn’t a big loss.
VLC for one plays just just about everything you throw at it and supports a lot of features...Windows Media Player ...not so much.
VLC?
What kind of profit margin did they hit? There’s a difference between making a good product and making a profit.
Nokia got destroyed in the smartphone game. Don’t blame them for wanting to stay out of it.
Lol, proving that the best way to be able to afford the iOS platforms on which overpriced apps are sold on is to actually sell said overpriced apps....
You must be an incredible investor... (Oh wait, no, you're not)
That seems like a longer distance to shoot than necessary. One little jerk and the test subject gets shot in the chest.
