2 months ago I bought an Alltrack SEL, added $2k of APR ECU and TCU tunes, and boom. AWD GTI wagon. Same horsepower and even powerband. Once the amazing warranty is closer to being up I’m going to swap in the IS20 turbo to build my own Golf R wagon.

Green ‘18 Alltrack 6MT. I’ve owned it about 15 months and it’s got 35k miles on it already. Wonderful road trip car.

I also bought a manual GTI this year. If the Alltrack manual transmission (without a tune) had the power of the GTI I would have gotten that.

Hey now, I bought one in May and it’s a stick. I tried, dammit.

I bought a GTI with a manual and if they had one as a wagon I would’ve gotten that.

I had two E46 wagons over a span of 10 years ending just a couple weeks ago, and I used that glass ALL THE TIME on those cars. Way more than the whole hatch.

Enough to pull a garden trailer or a small camper.

I use this feature on my E91 almost every day. Do people/owners REALLY not know? Hard to believe.

I’d harbor a guess that GM will release it in 1-2 years to quell the thirst of the manual enthusiast. 

Let’s make a ‘new’ Skyline, but with less of that whole driving thing it’s legendary for.

Cool! I do hope the new vette has a manual but i guess we will see soon. 

I’ve had a Q50 as a rental a couple times... what a terrible car. Thrashy engine (how do they build Mercedes with that thing?), not particularly fast, numb steering, hard seats. And now it looks like it’s eating a Sentra.

In this instance, all the negative comments that are sure to follow are warranted. That’s one ugly face!

I hope it ends up as a flop. Then, GM will have to either do better or give up. I don’t like seeing mediocrity in my favorite things continue to propagate (i.e. Star Wars *gag*).
