I'd guess they're having to bring a new guy in to try to save money on season 2 since it's such an expensive flop for HBO, and Winter probably didn't like that executives were cutting the purse strings for the show.

As well it should have been. Oliver, Billions, and Shameless are all all far better shows. Vinyl was a waste of my two hours.

He isn't wrong, the first two hours of the show sucked.

Without "the librarian" in the episodes it feels like a bad spin off of leverage (especially give the similarities in cast and directors)

This was moronic. They were looking for awards rather than viewers. If you look at the number of reviews you can see that only Bosch had more reviews, and actual views likely corresponds to the review numbers. The worst of the group by far was Mozart, that POS was horrendous, but Amazon isn't going to win any awards…
