I’d like to think that the designers of many of the current side-by-sides took inspiration from the Halo universe and its angular design language, but specifically the Warthog.

Nah, the Warthog is as badass as anything. It’s certainly the most iconic video game vehicle for me.
I have a black EM1! So not super old but still fun as hell.
all like 3 torques.
Not only pimped, if that’s the one that GM did it came with a 6.0L V8 and a 6 speed to back up the show. It was a one off.
Nah I see it too.
I like where John Deere is going with their design but I will always and forever be a New Holland fan. But yeah, they do take up two lanes with duals but you can do just as much with a traditional non-articulated tractor when it comes to hauling. They’re for plowing and planting and seem to be common as hell in…
These weigh about 37,000 lbs. shipped and will tow an equivalent weight. I can’t find a tow spec at the moment but i’ve seen them used to get similar sized tractors unstuck. And they’re common as hell in rural areas. So yes, a farm tractor will get pretty far.
They get a farm tractor. Which in a rural area would probably be plentiful enough.
I gave the wrong year. He got the first year of the redesign which was 2010 and came with the 6.7L diesel. I dunno why i was thinking that was 2008.
I knew a farmer who picked up like a 2008 F-350 brand new with the bigger V8, citing fuel economy was what he was after. Well this truck was to replace his older 1999-ish F-350 with the 7.3 diesel in it. He promptly traded that thing in for a diesel like 6 months later and never looked back. I laughed because i called…
Best username I’ve seen on here. Definitely had me cracking up at work.
I always thought that awesome mileage was due to gearing, like having a very tall 6th gear. So it’s only turning like 1500 RPM at 70mph. Maybe i’m wrong.
Red Bike in Cincinnati is more or less this. But you pay for an allotted amount of time via credit card and inside that time frame the bike must be returned to any of the stations scattered around the area. As far as I know this only exists on UC’s campus and hasn’t made its way downtown yet.
That’s true, but having a proportionally larger gas tank will make it hurt more when you go to fill up and only get 18 mpg or less. Thus, one more reason to bitch about gas prices even though they’re not the root cause of the bitching.
This just cracked me up so much at work. I can’t explain it.
Civics have this issue. At least my 1999 Si does.
Hell even a B16 with aftermarket valve springs and retainers will do 8000 reliably. I love my Si because of that.
Some of the faster drag race cars actually use a very heavy duty, built, 3 speed auto or so. The reason being it can shift harder and faster than a comparable manual, resulting in a better time. Obviously a manual can be as fast as the driver can shift but an auto can be faster and will usually only have 3 gears or…
If you’re gonna mock it you may as well be accurate. “VTEC” does not have an ‘H’ in it.
