I personally have the RAM mount and the Mountek. The RAM mount is nice and secure, but depending on the size of the phone, it can twist about 20 degrees which is pretty annoying. The Mountek is decent, but after using it for a couple months, the mount plastic bent and is now a bit looser than when new.

I’d love a Ferrari in a bright flashy shade of blue. Red is too cliché.

Tempted to check it out...reason enough to go drive the Miata.

Lots of cars have that bolt pattern. STI 04+, Mazda’s, Kias, etc will work. Easy to get some cheap OEM wheels. Probably could find them at a pick n pull close by.

There’s plenty of people on Craig’s list that don’t take their ad down after selling it, so its not unreasonable to ask if it is for sale. I’ve had quite a few times I’ve responded to ads but never get an answer.

Had he ever sat in a RX-7? Maybe he’s never seen one but really wanted one.

Personally, I think the problem is enthusiasts wouldn’t buy the ZHP, even if it was Jalop spec. If I was in the market for a 40k sedan, I would buy an e90 M3 instead of a brand new low optioned BMW.

Please make a video of you trying to get parts/service at a Nissan dealer and see how they respond and if they recognize the car you have!

Randomish question, but is there a way to see what writters on Jalopnik drive? It’d be interesting to see reviews of your own cars. You say you are a Miata guy? Do you have one or just like driving them? Thanks!

Theres a manual GT3, its called the Cayman GT4, and it even has the engine in the right place!

I vote for a Miata with rollbar, harnesses, stripped interior, racing seats, and walk in carrying your helmet. You can tell everyone you are a race car driver even though all you do is track days and autocross. :-P

For the drag force, the coeffienent of drag is one of the factors, but the other factor is area, so a bike could have double the cd, but 1/4 the area which would end up being a drag force of 1/2 of a car.

I'm currently renting one of these for 2 days, I would rather go in a hole and die. I can't see how any one would ever buy one of these. I should have just paid the extra $100 (compared to $60 for the mirage) to rent a Miata instead. And to the people talking about getting a car with a warranty, you could get a used

Its possible to speed in a Miata? haha :-P If I ever get pulled over in mine, I want to ask the cop if I'm getting pulled over for driving topless. Hopefully he will find it funny too.

I found the car that least needs a manual. A PT Cruiser, why anyone would buy that boggles me. Its like getting a Buick LeSabre or Chevy Impala with a stick. No enthusiast would ever buy it. The owner parked next to a Miata and was not interested in it at all. I guess the anti-enthusiast?
