I was born and grew up in Boston. I’ve been a huge car guy for a long time but because of this I’ve never had any exposure to motorsport. When this was announced I was impossibly excited and seeing it get shut down yesterday was incredibly disappointing. Guess I’m gonna have to wait a bit to see some real racing

I was reading up on the UberWatch promo earlier, and it seemed like a pretty bad idea to me. Driving in downtown Boston is awful in general, but it must be a nightmare in a truck like that or even the Lamborghinis on offer too. Not surprised this happened honestly, certain streets have extremely faded lane markings

17 years old, fastest experience in a car was, well, my parents driving me around for my whole life in commuter situations and the like. Going from that into my boss’ 650-700-odd horsepower RS6 on race gas for a 5 mph roll on a straight road without any warning really changed my perception of acceleration.

Never came from a car family. The most exposure to cars in my family I ever had was a ragged, torn around the edges photograph of a mangled smorgasbord or metal and bodywork my dad told me was a firebird he rolled a substantial amount of times at once. When he first showed me this picture he drove a Ford F250 Super

link to the article or where to look? Cant seem to find it but id love to read that piece

Can someone please find the owner and tell him to come to the Larz Anderson museum at some point for a show? Living in Boston I know there’s plenty of money around that area, but a 1 of 100 Huayra? Never would have expected it myself even after seeing some of the things I’ve seen at the Larz.
