I was responding to the person talking about professional licenses. There are several careers (at least in the US) where you do not need a professional license to carry out your work. Like I said, I don’t need a license to work as an engineer. But I feel like this law really only affects people who are A) bad at

There’s actually a pretty good engineering school in South Dakota.

Unless they revoke your degree I don’t think very many occupations would be affected by that. I’m an engineer and I don’t need a license to work.

[Insert Eddie Murphy Meme]

I think there will always be auto-manufacturing in the US. However, whether or not those jobs are done by humans is another question.

I’m all over that GS.

I really have no preference. I would have just as much fun in a WRX as I do in my Camaro. Currently I buy Chevies because GM is in the S&P500 and them doing better means my retirement plan is doing better. XD

There’s no such thing as brand loyalty any more. I’ve only heard the words “only buy American” in more conservative regions of the US or from Big Three employees. Consumers today will buy what is affordable and what they perceive as reliable (regardless of what data may show). I think it is a pipe dream that the

EV’s will become mainstream quickly when access to fast charging becomes more available. Right now fast chargers are few and far in-between for many people and charging etiquette is piss poor in areas that do have a several charging stations. I think once a car can get to 80% or so in 20min or less with a 400mi range

Or you could just by the blutooth version and have it work on all your phones in the future instead wasting money on an accessories that will only be functional for the life of a single phone.

I honestly don’t get how people are so willing to throw away money at company that has a terrible track record for deadlines and quality. IMO buying a car should be like buying video games, don’t preorder that shit because then they’ll never learn what they’re doing wrong.

I’ve seen a model 3 on the road. Honestly, I think its fugly as all hell, there are better looking cars that cost a lot less. It looks like they couldn’t decide whether to make it look more like the model S or the model X and ended up just half assing it. I’d rather drive the Bolt purely because it actually has a

I prefer my PC and a Switch for the portability. Both a significantly better than the Xbox IMO.

When people flip me off in traffic I return it with a blowing them a kiss through my hands in a heart. Very disarming.

I already have the a decent sword and Merciless. I’m shooting for the grenade launcher.

IDK, I think it just depends on your disposition and the cruise line you pick. The Norwegian Cruise I took to Alaska was absolutely phenomenal. I hiked around the wilderness at each of the port, had decent meals, and just sat on the deck watching icebergs and mountains roll by. One of the most relaxing, care-free

As others have pointed out, think about all the trucks you see at rest stops and gas stations. Those people buy food, fuel, lodging, showers, etc. Autonomy now eliminates all those people. Food, lodging, showers, etc are no longer being purchased. You’ll maybe have a couple people handling the refueling/recharging of

Honestly, universal income is one of the best ways to deal with a unskilled labor force losing their job to automation. Too bad most of America has a “I’ve got mine so fuck off” mentality.

Automation has the potential to destroy towns. There are hundreds of small towns that earn revenue by being a rest stop for truckers and weary travelers. If those vehicles no longer need drivers, then those towns will stop getting revenue from lodging those people. As EV ranges steadily increase, jobs at gas stations

I hate when people use it far too late. Like the slam on the brake THEN use their signal just before they make a turn.
