Automation has the potential to destroy towns. There are hundreds of small towns that earn revenue by being a rest stop for truckers and weary travelers. If those vehicles no longer need drivers, then those towns will stop getting revenue from lodging those people. As EV ranges steadily increase, jobs at gas stations

I hate when people use it far too late. Like the slam on the brake THEN use their signal just before they make a turn.

I don’t really agree with the back-up camera one. Most the cars I’ve driven have a fisheye lens on the back and the camera has a far better field of view than me turning around. Additionally, cross-traffic alert in conjunction with the camera is a godsend.

I really don’t understand why everyone is so surprised by him getting fired. I’ve never worked in any R&D or product development environment where A) there’s no NDA and B) photos/video is allowed of unreleased product in a restricted area. I could take a picture of a fucking pigeon and get fired if it was in a

NDA’s are legally binding. By allowing that video to be filmed and posted he put Apple’s IP at risk. There could be features on the phone that aren’t patented yet which could put their new flagship jeopardy if another company decides to come to market first with the same feature and patent it. Then Apple has to pay

Just another reason for me to never get a car with a sunroof.

Some frozen pizzas, junk foods like pork rinds, some yogurts, those budget baked goods at the grocer, etc.

Americans eat processed animal leftovers infused with corn syrup. At least dog is a healthier food source.

Gotta be honest. This is a hideous vehicle. Money doesn’t buy taste and who ever buys this would be exhibit A.

The Chinese seem to like them.

Neutral: Unless there is government intervention I don’t think it will ever be easy for new players to enter the automotive OEM space. It is a capital intensive environment, and if you don’t already generate the capital to fund your own development, then you have to rely on investors.

Please say this is a poorly constructed joke.

I thought FCA’s business plan was just to hellcat their entire line up.

I’ve heard from my friend that works at Ford that they charge you for the electricity after being connected for more than 4 hours. Other OEMs/Suppliers don’t charge you a cent.

Despite owning a Camaro these are my exact reasons why I wouldn’t buy a sporty car. I do have some buyer’s remorse. It’s wholy unpractical as a daily driver and I rarely have the opportunity to actually use it as it was engineered to be. I honestly sometimes wish I bought a truck or a wagon.

Does Uber not give you a price estimate of the fair like Lyft? I almost exclusively use Lyft and I have never been blindsided by a fare.

Seriously, what’s so wrong about letting the user organize their homescreen however they wish. I personally only have 4 apps on my home screen because it the 4 I use the most. Everything is either in the app drawer or on page 2. I like my phone like I like my desktop. Simple and free of clutter.

I think its entirely necessary for ICE cars to be banned eventually. It saddens me but its the right move. It will help boost EV sales in turn making them cheaper to produce and help fund further EV development. Its better for the environment, and reduces noise pollution in cities. Apart for Big Oil and Jalops, its

I do have both. I like the home significantly more. It can answer random questions better, it works better with streaming services IMO, can use it to control Chromecast, speaker is better IMO, and you can change the base out to change up the look. My use of echo has been reduced to Ocean Sounds at night and playing

Entirely this. My apartment doesn’t have charging otherwise I’d get one. And that’s only because my wife has an ICE vehicle. I make 6 hour road trips at least 5 times a year. I’m not going to extend my trip by 1-2 hours for the sake of driving electric. Plus there is still no common charger, I’ll be damned if I have
