I don’t really see it as time savings. You still have to spend time to charge your car. Whether its at home or while shopping.

Doesn’t even have to be that efficient. I drive a Camaro which costs me ~$500 a year in fuel. A rental car for my longer trips would cost me about $430 to get a rental car for 2 week straight, but thats not the case. It would be more like $600 or more. Living close to work is a huge benefit, and while an electric car

It would cost me more to get a rental car for 2 weeks cumulatively than my yearly fuel costs.

eh, until I can “refuel” my car in 5-10min for max range then its not really a replacement for me. I have to drive ~300 mi a few times a year and ~500 mi once a year. My current car can do the first round trip on just over a tank of gas and the later on one full tank. Both these trips already take at least 5.5 hours

meh

I agree with you. It was perfectly acceptable for the journalist to report crimes. I’ve had a tornado go through my town. Didn’t give me the right to walk into Walmart and take what ever the fuck I wanted. The human body can survive weeks without food. In a situation like this all you need to survive is dry clothes

Fuck people who price gauged during crisis. Scum of the earth.

Love the safety tech in cars today. My only complaint is that they haven’t developed a sensor that keeps dumbasses from opening their car door into my own vehicle.

You wouldn’t understand, its just a Jeep thing. /s

They make hoodies too. I have one of them. Not heavy at all and my best guess is that its fair more durable.

Milwaukee Tool already sells stuff like this and the bonus is the batteries used to power the jackets can then be used with your tools.

Knowing the speed of the cop I’d say its 99% the cop’s fault. He was travelling much too fast for the situation. 1% for the Smart car for either over-correcting his under-steer while turning left or for changing lanes without a signal.

Too much chrome. Though to be fair almost any amount of chrome is too much chrome for me. If I ever buy a truck the first thing I’m doing is dipping the bumper or finding a fascia from a junked base model.

I still go to AutoShows, but that’s because I can go on industry days or early in the morning before they open. No crowds, and the freedom to really get your hands on some stuff.

5th Gear: I’m a little conflicted on that. I’m sure most dealer that have bad reviews deserve most of them, but some people just like to complain. Like the LensCrafters by me has terrible reviews only because 3 people decided that their glasses “too” expensive. Or I recently looked at disc golf discs on amazon and

If I ever had a problem with it, it was maybe for 5min.

I mean kinda? Is the visibility worse than my Malibu? Yes. Do I have trouble’s seeing out of it. No. Probably because I’m short, most of my tall friends complain about it. I have my seat and my mirrors adjusted so that I have no issues seeing around me.

I feel like the requirement to get a license in most states is to have a heartbeat and that’s even pushing it sometimes.

I thought that was a picture of I-696 for a moment.
