I wouldn’t consider start-stop driver assisting tech. Its tech, but for fuel efficiency. Lane departure warning, lane keep assist, front collision warning, forward automatic braking, Adaptive cruise, etc. Most of those can be disabled or have the sensitivity turned down to a point at which its not a nuisance, IMO.  

I actually like a lot of these new features. I just go into the settings for them and turn off the beeps or reduce sensitivity of the sensors. Makes it way more tolerable.

You could just turn it off. My Chevy had all that junk. I could turn off all the annoying sounds and just left the warning lights on. Way better experience, and useful for whenever anyone is inevitably distracted.

GM will start direct hires off with 3 weeks of vacation and we usually get all the same holiday negotiated in UAW contracts, which is about 14-16 corporate holidays. Works out to be about 5 weeks of vacation and increases when you reach landmark length of service.
