As someone who move here from out of state, 696 is nuts. People pretty much treat it as Michigan International Speedway. Also, car fires seem to be pretty common around Detroit. Look at the shoulder on 696 or 75 and you’ll see quite a few scorch marks. I’ve been living in the Detroit Metro for 2 years and have seen 5

1st Gear: I recently purchased a 2017 Camaro. They definitely try to push the longer term loans. “Look how much lower you monthly payment is!” Yeah, don’t fall for it. Demand to see the interest rates, you’ll be in for a surprise. I’ll pay the extra $100 a month to avoid a 5.9% loan and thousands of dollars in

I understand people’s dissatisfaction with the woman (I’m with them), but personally I don’t agree with how they treated a guest speaker.

Sadly, I know people that think that way. I have a friend who, gladly no longer, thought that Chevy and GMC were two different car companies and not brand run by one larger company. So when I showed up in a Mailbu after getting a job at GM their first words to me were “Why are you driving a Chevy? I thought you got a

Good. Those people are obnoxious. There is literally no benefit to rolling coal except if you get off on being a public nuisance.

Package deals are reduce complexity which helps reduce mistakes. Also, most car buyers aren’t gear heads or enthusiasts. That’s a dwindling market. It makes more sense to offer what the common masses are interested in, and that’s flashy tech and gizmos that Jalops think are pointless.

GM will start direct hires off with 3 weeks of vacation and we usually get all the same holiday negotiated in UAW contracts, which is about 14-16 corporate holidays. Works out to be about 5 weeks of vacation and increases when you reach landmark length of service.

Makes one think if it was a reverse start. Either that, or everyone else was babying their cars.

Stolen, theft of personal effects, etc. Hell, if he was careless enough he could have accidentally left it in drive or neutral. Then you have personal injury lawsuits to worry about. They’ve built cars with removable keys and remote start for reasons like this. If you want a warm car in the winter, then maybe it would

Stupid actions get stupid consequences. Leaving your keys in the car is just dumb. I did not expect this to go any other way.

You’re missing RAM pickups. Those guys are terrible in Detroit.

Counterpoint: gas stations didn’t just appear out of nowhere. They were a fuel network who’s growth stemmed from ever increasing automobile sales. EVs are no different. Manufactures are only building EVs to appease government requirements (partly as future investment). There’s little incentive to build a charging

1st Gear: I will be amazed if July actually happens. So far my impression is that production is going about as smoothly as the Model X’s did. I’m not going to hold my breathe.

Might as well condemn FCA, Ford, Honda, and Toyota too.

Sounds like poop. Way better sounding V6s out there.

Yeah, its getting really annoying. Comments seamlessly blending into another article is no bueno. #MakeTheCommentSectionGreatAgain

Camaro is no longer using the Zeta platform. Its on the Alpha platform shared with Cadillac ATS and CTS. That said is still a great platform. I would rather track a ZL1 than drag race a Demon. Plus the ZL1 has a manual.

They could do it like the people in my apartment complex. Throw extension cords out the window at night when the grounds keepers aren’t milling around.

There are plenty of $30k cars that look good. Hell, they are $20k cars that look good. This is a ~$35k car that is ugly and boring. No excuses.

At this point those Pre-Order mean nothing to me. The Model 3 might as well be a KickStarter campaign that’s slowly sinking. Every bit of news about it has been so underwhelming that when anything “new” comes out I just go: “meh.”
