Came here to pretty much say this. I have a 2.0 Turbo in my car and I can get 36mpg. “I slam on the pedal and get bad fuel economy.” No shit! Stay out of the boost if you want good economy moron.

I keep seeing all these replies and makes me think that maybe Ferrari is actually in the business of convincing people ugly cars look good.
Yeah, I was incredibly taken back. If you really want to cringe at what some people don’t know (or think they know), then check out r/justrolledintotheshop on reddit.
eh, maybe what enthusiasts think, but general public maybe not so much. I’ve definitely turned some head with my Malibu. Took it to extended family over the holiday. They were blown away by it. I’ve even had a guy approach me in a parking lot and pretty much re-enacted those dumb commercials on the spot. General car…
It’s definitely on my radar as well. I’ll probably end up with two of them because my fiancee also really wants one.
I’ve taken some skid pad training. Crazy how much of an impact having ABS has on maintaining control.
Saw a guy in a Grand Caravan with a similar situation. The back end was bouncing up and down like the highway was a bounce house.
Their interior is just way to spartan for me. The more I learn about it, the more I hate.
They would have to pay me to take it. I can count on one hand how many FCA products I’d consider owning. The 200/Dart didn’t make it onto the hand. BTW the hand would be missing 3 fingers.
I drive the new Malibu and I regularly pack 3 6ft people in it for lunch runs. They’re always surprised how much room it has. Not sure how accommodating it would be for a Great Dane, though. I have the 2.0T and get about 30mpg doing 400mi of highway a week. Also, comes as a hybrid.
Caution Coffee Phone is Hot Distracting.
Why bother? Raw HP does nothing if its in a bloated pig of a car. Compare the 2017 ZL1 Camaro and 2017 Hellcat Charger, roughly the same price. The Camaro has 57 less hp but is 500lbs lighter. 0-60 the Charger is only a tenth of a second faster. I bet Ford and GM could easily close the gap with just chassis…
It looks like they carried over the front from the LS500 and just pasted the Toyota bit over it. Just all around terrible.
That sounds about right. I was trying to get a Lyft from SeaTac to downtown once and was rejected a few times after having my initial request accepted.
Almost seems like he wanted to beat on someone. Why accept the fare if you didn’t want to drive to NJ? Correct if I’m wrong, but I’m pretty sure Uber and Lyft drivers see where passengers want to go before accepting a fare.
I was curious how bad it actually is. I’ve used navigation in BMWs, Fords, GM stuff, and Nissan stuff. I can confidently say they all suck and would never recommend using them over other services thatare better and are either cheaper than the addon or just plain free.
I’ve used the onboard navigation exactly once in my 2016 Malibu. Voice recognition was terrible and couldn’t search outside the town I was in without jump through hoops. When it finally worked, it took me 3 miles out of my way to get there. Absolutely awful, I only use Garmin, Waze, or Google for my navigation needs.
Its a godsend. I can’t wait til they update it to have Waze.
Yup, a good portion of the population can barely afford Michigan’s dumb No-Fault insurance requirement. So people will spend like $50 and get insurance for a week so they can legally register the vehicle. Like right now I’m paying $3000 a year for 2 vehicles, if I moved a bit south into Detroit city limits my rates…
They still have brakes and tires which produce debris. Some of the batteries themselves are not the best for the environment and can be hard to recycle. They are significantly heavier than normal vehicles which A) causes more road wear B) reduces efficiency. Some states use coal or nuclear for sources of energy. Coal…
