No one said it was hard just not enjoyable. Some people just don’t like bouncing between two gears in bumper-to-bumper traffic. I dropped my manual econobox because it drove me nuts being in heavy traffic. I find my commute much more enjoyable with my automatic. That said I do miss ripping down country roads in my 5sp

I would have never learned how to drive manual if I hadn’t bought one myself. My parents were content with me only knowing how to drive automatics. Partially because they didn’t feel like having to buy another car just to teach me.

That’s hardly a trailer at this point. More like a pseudo-mobile home.

It shouldn’t but you can look at it a few different ways.

It can lower property values because curb appeal is a thing. That’s a dickish thing to do.

Just went through that whole thread. Yeah, I agree with you. Especially after doing this to his mailbox. They obviously have a toxic relationship.

That’s assuming they know anything exists past Ann Arbor. I know people who act like leaving the state might as well be leaving the country.

But cost of living is way higher. Average rent in Silicon Valley is $2400/mo, while Detroit is $1150/mo and Madison $780/mo. Just because its more money doesn’t mean you’ll be living better. I have friends who started working at John Deere and CAT making little more than half that your friend is making in SV, but

I love my keyless entry. I keep my key in the watch pocket in my jeans and it never leaves until I’m home for the day.

I mean you could just have her use the spare key. I don’t think there’s an OEM out there that doesn’t give you two keys.

That truck always reminds me of General Akbar.

But they won’t be okay if they need to sell credits in order to supplement their earnings.

or Ford and Toyota.

Tesla borrowed much less under the same program and paid back the loans promptly...the government made profit from the interest.

If I’m shopping around for a Minivan, then its because I need it to haul cradle midgets. I’d rather have the Odyssey than the Model X. Its more reliable, has way more space, and I won’t be as mad when kids trash it. I can then spend the money I saved on my mid-life crisis and buy a Z06.

Was in the U.P. for a weekend, and the joke of the weekend was “It’s a Jeep thing.” Mostly because the two guys that brought Jeeps were going on and on about how awesome they were, then both of them broke down for no reason. Trail Rated? Hardly even road rated.

I didn’t even consider the limiter. I can see how that would be infuriating.
