Came here to pretty much say this. Everyone is looking at the Big 3 and saying that they should be faster and more nimble like tech companies. And working in the industry I think there are some changes that could definitely speed up the process. Some have already taken place, but there are also many reasons why it

Maybe he’s Killgrave.

I’m sure it would take way more time to try to integrate someone else’s tech into a vehicle they’ve been working on for years than to just continue the research they are most likely already doing.

This is entirely my perspective on the expectation that Auto OEMs should be like the Tech Giants. When an OS update screws up your phone or computer they just push another update. You can’t just push another powertain onto a consumer if you fuck up your validation.

They use some newfangled “3-D” modeling software to design their car on computers instead of large pieces of paper. Sooooo space age these Telsa guys. Why aren’t other OEM using this stuff. /s

I don’t mind the lane keep assist. It’s good enough to give me a nudge when I do something dumb, but doesn’t encourage me to take my hands off the wheel.

Wargaming’s mobile gaming Hummer. Complete with Razer laptops and peripherals.

My roommate is in their electrified vehicles group. They were definitely playing with the doors.

Definitely excited for the hatch for the 2017my.

I’ll just leave this here...

I have the 2016 Malibu Premier. I understand the “subtle” differences between it and a luxury sports sedan, but the average buyer they couldn’t tell the difference. Take it from someone who’s friends didn’t even know Chevy was own by GM.

For me the automatic had a better lease rate. Depending on region and model manuals just don’t hold their value. My first car was a manual and I bought it for half the price of an automatic that had twice the miles.

Totally agree with you. But I’m sure Ford will spin some way to make people lose their minds. They’re like the Apple of car tech.

Not really a fan of the single giant tablet. It looks like a small Vizio that someone’s wall mounted to the dash.

Affordable:

Pretty sure the car would have a panic attack and shut down.

I’ll just wait for Ford’s integrated version to work its way through other OEM’s.

The grill just doesn’t do it for me.

Just because its based off a comic doesn’t give it a pass to be awful.
