As a Filipino, our local politicians wouldn’t allow it as they would rather find a way to get the yachts themselves.

During a restart before the crash, Senna was seen complaining that the safety car driver was going too slowly.

    FIA, not FIM.

That said I do think it is unfortunate that F1 is looking more and more like an NFL franchise model which is at the heart of the cost spiral

Vegas should feel more permanent at least, since the main pit building and grandstand are part of what will be F1's US headquarters, so it’s something that’s meant to be there in the long run, unlike Miami which is a bone thrown to Stephen M. Ross after his bid to buy the sport was rejected.

I’d be running for office and throwing them out.

The issue is that those who might actually know will never straight up talk about it due to the legal ramifications, or are now gone.

On the flipside, with how it’s killed off its sports cars, Audi does kinda need F1 if it wants to say that it’s still a “sporty” brand. Porsche, not so much.

The only solution is to create a closed system that guarantees money like Formula 1. But that still requires a large fortune to get in.

Writing was on the wall for some time now. The changes Aston demanded for the class probably hurt SCG the most. Not being able to run it at IMSA for more exposure and sponsors didn’t help the funding situation, especially with the roadgoing version still nowhere in sight.

All I can tell you is that we don’t need another hero

I can’t wait for the day my personal transport spends most of its time navel gazing.

By the time he’s at Anthony Nogues, we’ll be more curious about why a corner is named after a Spanish field hockey player.

So you’re telling me that a former Royal Dutch Navy frigate has been yassified?

Bernie Eccleston a scumbag? Watch the motorsport world be shocked for an entire minute, two even.

A fair amount of Googling shows that she was sailing as the Fomalhaut until 1994. That’s as much as I can gather and can’t find what class she was part of.

Anyone figured out what the original class of this yacht was yet?

Perez has always been a decent midfield driver who’s capable of taking wins. But a top tier driver capable of hanging with someone like Max he’s not — he just doesn’t have the mental fortitude nor the time to develop it. It’s pretty obvious that something broke (mentally) in Monaco and he’s suffering ever since.

Epic isn’t involved though. The promotional material even has a disclaimer stating such.

That rear “rollover hoop” makes it look like a Defender had a love child with a Carrera GT.
