Piquet can’t seem to stand having another Brazilian driver on the same level or better than him. That Hamilton now has honorary Brazilian citizenship probably incenses him even more, especially with how popular Lewis is due to him being a massive Senna mark. Heck, Lewis should race under the Brazilian flag in Sao

There has been talk of keeping him away from races and not giving him a pass to them.

Bad day to be Juri Vips. His previous use of the n-word on Twitch already put his future with the team in question, but this incident basically had Red Bull pull the trigger.

This, plus toss Randy Pobst into the mix. Him and Jason had some great chemistry together.

Still not sure why they didn’t get Jason Cammisa for this.

My theory is that’s what they’re immediately signing up customer teams. Having more teams on the grid with their car might help put a bit more pressure on the ACO not to screw around.

That, or the sense that the ACO will favor its own regulations with the BOP. Or at least that’s what Glickenhaus thinks since he’s gone on record that he believes the ACO will never let Porsche or other LMDh runners win at Le Mans.

How fitting is debuting a race car that is testing the limits of hybridization and automotive technology

LMH has more freedom when it comes to aero, whereas LMDh regulation hypercars/GTPs do not. Strange decision when the class has a 4:1 downforce to drag requirement that, in theory, should allow for more freedom in design.

Some of these don’t technically count as “failed” as the companies are still around, just not as roadcar makers. Yamaha is the most obvious, but Dome is still around, just making racecar chassis (including the SuperGT GT300 Mother Chassis) for various series. Venturi is also, surprisingly enough, still with us, though

So would you say that the car is full of quirks and features?

    Now playing

No mention of their first batch of turbo hybrid V6s for McLaren?

I believe it's a different deal now where PMI no longer controls all the sponsorship on the car.

2019 Ferrari is still the wrong shade of red that they’d been using during Philip Morris’ tenure controlling the sponsorship rights. The return to classic Ferrari red with the F1-75 is much welcome.

Almost as amazing as Chuck Leclerc.

We’ve been trying that, but the main issue is the cost of these versus just building a Jeepney around an old Toyota diesel.

As long as Ferrari doesn’t keep being Ferrari.

This makes sense though. Self-driving vehicles aren’t really targeted at the same people buying Ferraris. The full level 5 ones people are designing all target regular commuters who might not even be buying them, but just ridesharing. At this point, being able to drive a car, let a lone a Ferrari just becomes

It felt great to cast a tornado and see things actually take damage from getting sucked up and crashing down to earth, instead of some vague “air elemental damage” number.

Time to let go then... just like the Dangan!
