I told people at work that I changed my front brakes and exhaust (the easy part from the cat to tailpipe and I got the strangest look. People really have no clue anymore. Literally 3 hrs of relaxed pace work.

09 Volvo v50R owner here. Grudgingly bought the cpo - within the year had the full awd replaced ($8k look it up). If I hadn't purchased the cpo via the dealer it would have been a painful end to that car.

205k on my ‘03 tdi. Orig clutch. Only surprise was a fan belt guide breaking at the bearing. Everything else has been normal - I never expected it but it's been the best car I've ever had.

09 v50R with 75k. Same everything except for the wagon-ness and 4wd. Great car. Love the c30 - eventually will replace my (tdi) golf with a c30.
