He’s on stock gearing? You do realize on a bike like that with stock gear it isn’t easy nor adviseable to do a slow wheelie. Anyone doing a slow wheelie on a bike putting out around 100hp has an upgraded sprocket.

On the handlebar above the clutch he has a handbrake. It’s a hydralic line going to a second caliper on the rear disc. Allows you to brake without having your foot on the brake.

15-18mph... The fastest anyone can go anyway.

That’s the problem. You think that a 15-18mph course can’t teach you anything when in fact getting those basic skills down is what prevents crashes like this. You learn there and gain more skill in the real world. This guy made an elemental mistake, specifically putting weight into the bars and tucking the front end

Stock gearing on a 500 pound bike and that’s not impressive? Dude.... Do you know what kind of mods the bike in the pic has? He has a handbrake thrown on, wheelie bar and associated protection so it doesn’t break when it falls. The sprocket alone has over 100 teeth. Obviously you can do more when you have a sproket

Adjustable suspension. Dial it in, get the right tires and drift away!

Technically MSF has chipped in by providing 250's for these nit wits to learn on. Yet most of these people don’t bother learning.

Same concept. Step on the brake and the bike will modulate.

Which is why I’ve held onto my 2004 6spd Acura TL with 209,000 miles on the clock. Good car, nothing breaks, drives well, may as well keep it.

Only issue is their price. At 59k for an S60 that’s way too pricey for a turbo 4pot in my book.

Its all practice for the Isle of Man TT :P Mine held up well for a while and then I really started riding like an ass. Thats when it let go. This is exactly why I want an adventure bike next. Can take a wheelie or stoppie without being a bitch to me lol

That’s how I ride my CBR but my fork seals generally dislike that treatment :P

New painting technique. You get to a show, car catches on fire, matte finish and is hot to touch !

Very reminiscent of the Need For Speed cutscene shots.

Um... You realize the difference between marketing and engineering right? You are correct about those two cars being cross shopped. Only time will tell if the Focus RS does as well as the civic. Not enough information to make a determination as yet. But guess what? Given the fact that we understand how drivetrain

Considering the FWD variant is bechmarked at that time and the AWD variant has not been tested do you believe that an AWD hot hatch being compared to an FWD hot hatch is fair? So you would be okay comparing two completely different drivetrain configurations? But the same config is somehow not fair?

A full roll cage can be built to protect the drive without affecting rigidity. Plenty of roll cage designs out there many of which do nothing to change how the chassis sits. If you don’t care about lap times, I supposed you shouldn’t be looking into any sports car. Why would a Focus RS even be on your radar? Why

Considering the video covered all of that including the fact that it has optional Pirelli Trofeo R, we know what tires it had. The car was a press car and not prepped for the track. You can see the car was not a test mule. Please cut the crap. Literally nothing you’ve said is a reflection of what is in the video.

Overpriced? Where did you come up with that from? Did you find other hybrid supercars within 200k? I’m waiting.
