The who dash is leather covered and is soft. The plastics are matte finish and are also soft to the touch. I’ve driven the E, 5 series, and S6. Different plastics but none that felt as good. The Merc was down right bad. I’ve seen how their plastics deteriorate over time as well. Never said the others were atrocious

Everything. Cheap plastics do not finish well, are hard to touch and rough on your fingers. To you, they might have nothing to do with it. For me however that is everything. A car that does not have soft touch points is poorly engineered and cannot command a premium price tag. You’re welcome to wager that all you

2004 or 2005 Acura TL 6spd. Comes with bullet proof motor and transmission, firmer suspension, torsen LSD, Brembo 4 pot BBK’s up front and fantastic steering feel. Volks not included. 208,000 miles on mine with no issues. Going from $6,500 all the way to 10k depending on miles.

Great post! 10/10

Stance has lead to enforcement of laws that screw other enthusiasts from being able to do anything to their cars. Just look at the idiotic rules enforced in Quebec. Look at the camber laws enforced in California. Their excess destroys the scene for everyone else.

If you can slide a supermoto you can slide anything. Backing in a 1000 after that is a piece of cake!

Twist of the wrist 2. Watch it on youtube. Will help you learn a lot. That and using a small bike to start. Once you start backing your bike into a corner and the muscle memory develop’s you can hop onto any bike after that and hone your skill.

Ride your brake while you feather the clutch. Its a good skill to have but isn’t used as much in real life situations. Having leverage on your bars also makes it easy. On a superbike it’s really hard because the bars have minimal clearance at full lock. Something with raised bars makes it easier. Had a hard time with

Starting early also helps. If you have a gearhead child, get them on a bike quick. I started riding pretty late yet developed good skill that has saved my ass in times of need.

Are ergonomics not important to you? You spend all your time in a car if you’re driving in. Cheap plastics are shit. If you don’t feel that way, then great. Personally I like driving my car and not circle jerking a bunch of friends at a gas station regurgitating a spec sheet. But that’s just me...

Like I said before. Options. Some people want the power and some don’t. Car purchases aren’t all about facts and figures. I don’t know where the chassis, and brake claims have come from. How did you compare those aspects? A lot has to do with what you feel. All I can say is that the CTSV is impressive and a fantastic

Interesting! Thanks for posting that. Never actually saw any account of it.

Report does not cover that. They redesigned their pedals to prevent any future occurrence. They idiot proofed the same system that was had no flaws except when people stacked their mats. Increasing clearance of the pedal to further idiot proof something is not an admittance of guilt. That’s what the US government

Again you seem to be mixing up everything I’ve said. Yes people mostly will not track these cars and want something fun and spirited to drive. This car is fun and spirited just given the specs.

“Who buys 70-80K cars new while only worrying about depreciation? Most people who can buy these new, will dump them after 2 years with 30K miles.” Your statement not mine.

Tracks and drivers make the difference. Cars are tools just like everything else. I’ve seen plenty of drivers in high performance cars getting their asses handed to them because they didn’t have the talent to get on the gas when necessary. Driver aids can only help so much.

Do you think that money becomes an endless resource when you buy a car at 70-80k? A fool and his money are soon parted. Smart people do take those things into account. Some of us value our time and prefer a car that works. If you claim to have engineering prowess reliability shouldn’t be an issue. So please take your

This car fits into a class. A class that is filled by cars of this weight range. Not everyone needs HP to drive fast. You maybe but not the rest of us. Most of that power only see’s the street in a straight line and nothing else. Around a corner I’ll take finesse over power any day. A car like that is for someone

Cause it’s nice to expand your market. A company that doesn’t reinvent fails. More options for buyers is a great thing. Why is having a performance line up a pipe dream? They’re cars that have sporty dynamics and work very well. There are ISF’s on the road with over 100k miles that have seen nothing other than oil

At least you wont have to spend an arm and a leg to maintain the car or have to sell it once the warranty is up. And considering it’s 580lbs lighter than the merc it should be quite nice to drive on any course.
