I think this may have more to do with the perceived luxury mindset of “I shouldn’t have to shift my own gears” associated with new car buyers. I’m grateful for the new manual sports models still offered, such as the civic si, mustangs, vettes, toyobarus, etc.

I call b.s. on moving production to the U.S. increading car costs. I mean, if Honda and Toyota can build cars in the U.S. (arguably better ones, too) and price them comparably to that of the big three’s offering, then why the hell can’t the big three meet said standards?
