How about a slightly different take on evading trouble?

This was a tough call for me. I’ve owned six station wagons, and almost bought one of these in ‘86 when I wrecked my Caprice Estate Wagon. That particular (brown!) Malibu had a v8 and a manual transmission, so I was 100% ready to sign the papers as soon as I saw the shifter in the transmission tunnel.

Besides the exhaust, the Ralliart package includes: different/lower springs, shocks, quicker and steering rack with less damping, strut tower brace, 5 lug wheels and 205/50/16 tires, and a larger front sway bar. I dd one of these, and it’s been very reliable.

The ralliart trim level was indeed available as a wagon in the USA. I have using one of these as a dd since 2009. Currently at 125,000 miles, it’s been more reliable than the 95 Accord wagon that it replaced.
