(I don't know. Maybe. But I found Dickens to be like Tolkien, who I also don't like. They just go on and on for pages about a tree or some inconsequential crap. Only made it halfway through the second Lord of the Rings before I gave up.)

Thank you Alistair, and other commenters. After reading reviews and comments on other sites, I thought I was watching a different show than everyone else.

I like to bring that up anytime someone complains about me "spoiling" something. I think it goes back to what Todd said: "…the real fun was in reading his prose, in absorbing and enjoying his words." He was talking about reading Dickens (which I disagree with because I *hated* reading Dickens in high school), but I

Well, we still don't know who the Traveler is…

Agreed. This is the type of show that I really want to discuss, but unfortunately there aren't really any TV sites in Canada that do episodic reviews (although TV Guide Canada has been doing Q&As with Simon Barry all season). I do read the recaps on io9 most weekends because they are one of the few sites that actually

What’s the most obvious heir to Lost on the dial today? It’s a drama set in a women’s prison that has no genre elements.

Haha. No. It just takes me out of it. A little bit here and there doesn't bother me, when it makes sense. But Game of Thrones?

I didn't hatewatch it. It was more like disinterest than hate. I forced myself to watch it (in the background) because everyone talks about it and I wanted to get the references. It was worth it for these: http://knowyourmeme.com/mem…

I get that. Like, I hate the character Hannibal, but I still enjoy watching him (at least on the show - haven't seen the movies).

*braces for onslaught of hate*

Same here, books and TV show. I tried the show, thinking it would be better, but I can't get past all the gratuitous sex/nudity.

Well, there were some people who replied to that comment who seemed less than sure. But, yeah, I thought it was fairly obvious. I never believed she was dead for a minute. First rule of TV: if you don't see it happen, it probably didn't.

Just came to say: CALLED IT! (with respect to Abigail being alive).

Couldn't agree more with the review. I thought the nanite arc took a really interesting turn this season when they became sentient. And that final scene? Oh, how I wished I hadn't seen it. It hurts that we won't get to see that play out. :(

I was actually thinking that there was like a 75% chance of NBC renewing it. Like you said, the ratings weren't really that bad, and I always thought this show would do well on Fridays with Grimm. Alas, NBC had different plans. Whatcha gonna do? At least Hannibal was renewed?

Every time they draw attention to the absence of God, like they did in this episode, I keep thinking He's gonna come down to Earth and be all "What the heck is going on down here?" like a dad who was just trying to get some peace and quiet for an hour or two.

It wouldn't be a Supernatural finale without one of the Winchesters dying.

Mr. Fischoeder had some good lines tonight too.

"Tina! You beautiful four-eyed son of a bitch!"
