People will be mad at me for saying this but I hope it isn't a macbook pro refresh. I just bought mine lol. I'd be angry

Pretty bummed. Lost my Pokemon Platinum game and have looked everywhere 3 times. I have Heart Gold but I'm mad because I lost a lot of good and event pokemon that were in the box :( Oh well. At least Super Scribblenauts is out today.

@Spaceboy: Prepare for quite the campaign against that case. I cracked my friends for him last year and when I was done I felt like I'd just played 20 rounds of COD online with just a knife against a thousand grenade launcher noobs.

Don't you hate it when you had the exact same idea but somebody else published it first :(

@smirkette: Agreed, also that may be the reason that they feel comfortable with the delay. Other smaller games without a following may need that extra boost of a Christmas release, but I still feel that your sales will be better with a final product then releasing a buggy game.

What is the one (or two) game(s), whether they've been announced or not, that everybody is psyched for for? For me it is Half Life 2 Episode 3 and the next Elder Scrolls installment whenever that may be.

@Taggart451: I think you are onto something about the gender differences in games but on the subject of Mirror's Edge. I felt that Faith did have a fairly well fleshed out character.

@Scotsdale: Hah now that is a huge coincidence. I'm getting my BA in Journalism right now lol. I do love handhelds they make it easier. Catch some pokemon on my DS between classes.

I'm impressed by this sort of developer mentality. It shows they are more dedicated to shipping a completed product then getting a game out for holiday season. Even though we have to wait a bit longer, when we do get to play it will be a completed product.

@Scotsdale: I'm in the exact same place as you. 20 years old and in 3rd year university, work and school are taking all my time. Just my luck I JUST bought a 360 lol. It's the first time I bought a console that was released recently (by that I mean the slim model)

So I was playing reach online this week and was having a pretty good day. I'm not that great at online shooters on console but I've been improving and in fact had my best score ever that day (20-7 in Team Slayer) anyways at the end of the day I started playing pretty badly cause I was tired out so I signed off. When I

Am I the only one who cares about the lunch part? WHAT WILL THEY SERVE!?!?

Sorry Panasonic but I wish to direct you to another company's attempt at breaking into the gaming market: The Nokia N-Gage

@MrGOH: Good point I forgot about that.

@DrakeDatsun: Gotta love the crazy world of gaming.

@Outkastprince: *Digging out shield* I am aware of the backwards compatibility but I think my point is pretty evident. To emphasize my point though I'll give an example. It's like nintendo releasing a big game for gamecube a week before the Wii came out. I have considered that people will just play it on their DS

Anybody else slightly confused about the timing of Pokemon Black and White? Why would you release an installment in such a successful franchise for a previous gen system in the exact same time as the new one is released?

@NicolasCage: Haha good point. It was half fast scrolling through the page.

Am I the only one while scrolling through Kotaku got stopped by this story because the girl in the picture looks a lot like Alex Vance from Half Life 2? I was like omghalflifenews and then was let down. Oh well.

There was one comment that had this as long as other musings but am I seeing a possible induction-charging stand? I figure it wouldn't be since it has an A/C port but I think they'd include that just so you can play and charge.
