Is the point of this article that some people like the games and some people hate them? Because you could have achieved that with one author and a lot less “colour commentary.

Oh well, at least we’ll always have the games he’s already made.

Honestly so far it feels true to Giger’s aesthetic, and is gorgeous in its own right but, his art felt far more alive than this game feels, despite being the less animated of the two.

It’s also going to make 2 billion dollars and get a guaranteed sequel.

There is zero chance this design doesn’t have Ninty’s approval. They’re not going to take any chances by letting a studio do what they want with the property, not again.

I’m going to add Retronauts as an exhaustive collection of analysis and commentary on retro gaming from the last 50+ years, by people who know their stuff.

Really happy to see Allusionist and Ear Hustle on here.

I’m all for artists getting paid for their art, but they got paid when they created the tattoo. That’s part of his identity now, he’s not her personal gallery. Credit her work somewhere but I don’t think she should have been paid for that.

For a guy with zero experience, this is heartening as someone who also wants to start learning this stuff off my own bat.

I had a lot of fun with this - it definitely shines as a co-op game more than anything, bit sick of the weapon nerfing though and the dlc was...fun but thin.
At any rate, I’d be on board for a new entry.

Not that I expect them to read this, but this is hostile as fck. I’m lucky that I can usually afford something in the mid to upper - with these price hikes I maybe COULD go for a 4 series but screw that. Vote with the wallet, as they say.

I stuck with them until one month ago. It started as FOMO and then it became a serious sunk-cost fallacy. I’d come this far, you know? And I have a bunch of perks, credits, rental credits, ships etc waiting for me, it’s just not that compelling to play. Anyway, I’m not subscribing any more, and I’ll play the campaign

It has been amazing to watch - seeing that the sandbox is made up of all these interactions that we don’t see is not really surprising to me - what’s interesting is that you COULD do the same interaction with so few of these things happening under the hood, but then the dynamic interaction possibilities with the world

Whelp, this will be a fun super-spreader event. Have fun y’all.

Gotta disagree - I think they found the balance, particularly towards the end of the campaign.

Human male has penis: News at 11.

Weirdly this reminds me of Doom 3 and the jump scares, one spot a panel under you gives way but only drops about half a foot, so you get the shock of it, and you go “okay, you got me” and you walk forward and a few panels later they do it again and you just want to swear at them, and now you’re on edge....

It’s almost as if war is somehow less relevant to society. Weird.

KFC are doing a similar thing here in Oz and calling it a slider, with a bunch of different sauces and yeah, they’re pretty addictive for crap food. Kinda like getting a nice pork belly Bao, but crap in the best way.

And here we see what will be looked back upon as a classic example of the “Find out” bit that happens after the “Fuck around” bit.

Guess I won’t be playing their games then. What an asshole - never mind his personal views, but to do that to your employees. Sigh.

Checks list of games developed and published by Tripwire....
...nope, I don’t have to delete anything, either. Phew.
