Another designer chiming in here as well- Someone posted on Instagram a comparison of the side view sketch and the actual vehicle side view. Proportionally they were worlds apart. I know applying ones hot sketch on to the vehicle package is sometime maddening, but that’s where it’s either gonna work or it’s not.

The monolithic design with few, very precise lines demonstrates character and gives the car a modern appearance. The BMW iX is bold and yet clean and elegant.

The difference is: The Audi grille back then was new, but good. This BMW naked molerat front is new, but horrendous.

I hate this ad viscerally.
